Top 5 most savage characters for each tier

As for my submission Swole Demon for 2-C:

*By simply summoning him he brutality killed multiple subjects across the Graceskull kingdom (reducing them to burning piles of ash) while destroying the kingdom in the process then for good measure he trapped the souls of Graceskulls dead in a neverending nightmare where they must continuously relive the pain and despair of that atrocity for all eternity.

*He has destroyed several worlds and universes in his time, to the point it is believed his destruction won't be stopped until all lands and worlds are consumed by his nightmare.

*If you managed to prove yourself a worthy opponent and give him a good fight, he'll go to the final boss of DQ6 and absolutely curbstomp him into ground without breaking a sweat. The optional superboss of a RPG beating the final boss for you, I honestly don't know any other franchise that has done this feat.

*He forced all the other major and final bosses across the DQ franchise into subservience (some of which are savages in their own right) just to prove a point.

*Conceptually and design wise he was a god of destruction long before Beerus was even a twinkle in Akira Toriyama's eye.

To elaborate:
  • Enslaved an entire universe just to power his ship.
  • Has committed pretty much every crime imaginable (mass genocide of entire planets, slavery, abuse, burglary, etc etc)
  • Abandoned Earth after turning everyone into monsters.
  • Has destroyed multiple universes.
  • Doesn't give 2 ***** about all of the above.

probably a lot more as well... just what I remember off the top of my head.

Godzilla Earth for 6-A

massacred the human race intentionally burning down cities, space ships ect. and killed all monsters on earth

Sirin for High 6-A

She has launched several gigantic meteors at the earth with one destroying Los Angeles, another destroying 31% of Moscow then proceeding to launch another one into the Mariana trench which caused a mega tsunami which obliterated every remaining costal city on the pacific rim
Essentially black mailed the entire earths population (Technically) into giving her what she wanted
She proceeded to unleash 500 000 monsters onto the Siberian tundra where they killed over 34 million people across all of Siberia with only 100 people surviving. (All within a few hours)
Then proceeded to injure a few hundred million more people by filling half of Asia with toxic Honkai radiation (They would’ve all died if she wasn’t stopped)
Then when she was resurrected later on her simply appearing caused the entire planet to experience absurd Natural disasters and made most of the planets cities completely inhospitable
And for ***** and giggles basically was ruining the MC’s life from interfering with things as basic as her sleep to getting her friends and closest allies killed, as well as turning her into a fugitive on the run.
All while not caring about all the millions upon millions of lives she’s ruined

And that’s just everything I remember

GMK Godzilla for 6-C

The incarnation of the angered souls of the dead in WW2. He intentionally desotroyed cities and killed the guardian monsters of earth and ate their souls

Liu Mei for 4-B?

Upon realizing she was pregnant with the protagonist's child (with him being unaware), she waits for the child to be born and kills him, keeps his soul and torments it for centuries until it turns into a ball of resentment. Whereupon she finds the father and uses this to torment him. She also finds amusement in using her domain to turn men who see her into slaves that will attack each other with a suicidal focus.

What is up with messed up characters in chinese novels

Speaking of chinapersons, Wang Lin for 5-C.

Upon having his parents and relatives killed in front of him and himself having his body destroyed by a powerful cultivator, his soul fragment manages to attach itself to one of his artifacts and escape into a void space within a pocket dimension, where he spends 700 time dilated years in isolation trying to escape. Upon doing so, he possesses a man and starts a single minded path of revenge and accumulates strength for 400 years until he's confident enough to kill his parents' killer. He then returns to his homeland where he singlehandedly kills every single person sharing that murderer's blood, adults and children alike, and creates a tower of their 10,000 decapitated heads. Only then does he kill the man responsible.

Now that's a based nomination if I've ever seen one.

Ngl that actually sounds like a sick (in all interpretations of the word "sick") revenge epic. He definitely "killed them all".

That's essentially proving Setsuna's point but thanks for reminding why you don't cross chinamen or women.

Unless you're an abomination beyond any concept of comprehension or Marie.
He may be a chinaman, but you may well mistake Bai to be Greek, with how much animal rape he throws at his enemies...

Truly, the aphrodisiac pills live up to the most unsavory parts of their namesake.

He's also an accomplished drug baron and necromancer. Truly, a fine member of society.

Ah... yes the greeks, funny how my teachers left out the part of Zeus being an unfaithful, petty shape-shifting rapist (while Hades was actually the most chill of the big three and not just the greek devil that so many modern interpretations portray him as) but I digress.

Funny how many folks in fiction can get away with being "savage" with little to no consequences.

hades isn't the devil. far from it actually. People jump onto the "underworld" part too fast, not realizing that hades rules the world of the dead which is technically both heaven and hell

Bayverse optimus for 8-B or 8-A depending on what happens.

Split grindor's head in two, the infamous GIVE ME YOUR FACE scene, rips Shockwave's eye out through his throat, while screaming YOU DIE!, rips of Megatron's head, Kills sentinel the way he did, Forces the dinobots to fight for him or else they die ,Cleavs Lockdown in too

True I'll imagine you would need "acquired" tastes to appreciate let alone enjoy them but as someone who enjoys both Berserk and Akira, I believe I might give them a go in the future.
Somewhat. People generally reach that level after going through this phase : Anime -> Manga -> Manhwa and Manhuas -> JP webnovels (for example Instant Death) -> Greener pastures of Korean (for ex Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Second Coming of Gluttony, etc) and Chinese webnovels (for ex Renegade Immortal, A Will Eternal, etc)

They're quite fresh at first when compared to the JP stuff, especially with how the main characters behave. Though many would argue they'd rather have an asshole MC than a blank one, many of what is considered the "generic" (as in, for example Isekai Smartphone from the Isekai genre) have MCs be the complete opposite of what is considered a "herbivore dense JP MC", to.... very extreme levels sometimes.

This meme exists for a reason, after all :

Though, the well-written ones of those are a pure bliss to read. And perhaps most importantly, many of what would be wtf out of context (hax for example) make complete sense in-verse, so there's that too. Believe it or not you have themes of self-discovery and the like. It's rather that the worlds are much more unforgiving due to their core nature and so eventual fights happened, in which we enjoyed handpicking the most savage, kek.

Oh and, if you handled or even enjoyed Berserker you'll probably have an easy time with most of these, yeah. Berserke is pretty dark even when compared to most dark chinaverses.

Li Qiye, constantly pretends to be weak to make enemies attack him, beats them up just hard enough to make other enemies think they have a chance, and just continues baiting progressively stronger enemies until half of the planet is against him, and at the end usually kills everyone and destroys all their countries, although he's usually nice enough to let the non-combatants leave.

When fighting the Ancient Ming, a race of pure evil fiends, he massacred every single one in the universe, killing so many that even his loyal generals thought he was going too far, so he killed his generals as well to make them an example on how you can't have mercy on them. Then continues spending millions of years hunting every Ming, killing everyone that might have even a drop of blood that can make the race appear again.

They do have a bit of a pattern of being all psychos, but I wouldn't say they're much worse than what you see in other types of fiction, even mainstream stuff has some sick shit.

This is pure murderhobo Dao and I love it.

What the ****. That happens in ED?

Chinese protags being brutal as usual.

Fukazawa Yoichi for a spot in 10-B. He gets a superpower, then immediately starts killing people just to test it out, sees nothing wrong with it, as he perceives human life as worthless.

Then teams up with Iris and proceeds to kill everyone Kakeru loves over and over again by travelling to the past, just so he can break Kakeru mentally, as both are immortal and thus can't die.

He cares for no one, while Kakeru does, everytime Kakeru went to the past, Yoichi methodically starts killing everyone before Kakeru can do anything, he then proceeds to wait in Kakeru's room with the body of the woman Kakeru loves and tells him he is going to keep killing everyone he loves if he keeps interfering with him, doesn't amtter how many times he time travels, they will always dies, this basically breaks Kakeru who spends days not doing anything with Noa's corpse in front of him.

Sion for 7-C

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Sion_(League_of_Legends)

Spent a century slaughtering armies for Noxus and became so infamous that both his enemies and allies feared him in equal measure. He forgoed strategy on the battlefield in favor of simply charging into the middle of combat and cutting down everyone around him, a tactic which won numerous massive battles against overwhelming odds, and he has never taken a backwards step in combat. He despised cowardice and surrender to the point that he threw a Noxian commander off of a city wall in a rage because he suggested that they not fight, Sion then taking command and immediately ordering an attack. During this battle he quite literally bulldozed hundreds of soldiers as he bade a b-line for the leader of the opposing army, and even when the noxian army retreated sion fought off the majority of the opposing army alone. Finally, pierced by a dozen swords and a score of crossbow bolts, he reached the enemy army's leader, King Jarvan I, and fought him to the death, choking Jarvan with his dying breath even as Jarvan's guards repeatedly stabbed him, but killing Jarvan in the end, only allowing death to claim him after Jarvan had died.

After he was resurrected his mentality was permanently locked into the pure blood fueled rage that he experienced as he was killing Jarvan before he died, turning him into a living battering ram that killed anyone he faced. His rage made him uncontrollable, with every victory he brought having widespread deaths for both his enemies and his allies as he cannot distinguish between friend or foe, only seeing them as people to kill. Every time they tried to bring him under control several hundred soldiers died in the process. Even if he dies again in battle his body will continue to fight fueled by pure rage and the Soul Furnace in his chest, causing him to go into a blind rage and attack everything around him, absorbing the souls of those he kills just so he can keep fighting for a few more seconds and keep killing people.
