Top 10 Oldest Franchises on the Wiki

What the title says. It has occurred to me that we have a lot of old long running verses on the wiki. I thought it would be interesting to see who's the oldest.

Like Kamen Rider is 50 years old this year.
 
Mario is 40.

I think I should specify, franchises only. One off things like the Epic of Gilgamesh don't count.
 
Also if we want to go with long running shit, DC is 1934, Mickey is like 1928.
Do we wanna count Frankenstein? It's 1818.
 
Also I don't think mythology is a franchise to be honest.

Cthulhu Mythos is probably one of the oldest ones, Disney is... arguable, but I think it can count, given Kingdom Hearts sorta conglomerates it all into one entity. For the most part.
 
Theres also Dune which is 56 years old, and LOTR which is like 67, so those are pretty old too.

And before you ask, Dune isn't on the wiki quite yet but I plan on introducing it soon >.>

Also Godzilla is prolly the same age as LOTR
 
While not a franchise or verse page, we have a composite page for Felix the Cat who is 102 years old.
 
Theres also Tom and Jerry which started around 1940, which would make it like 81. Looney Tunes is even older than that, at 91.
 
How old Nasuverse and One Piece right now?
Younger than many, they're both about 20-25 years according to Google.

For the record, since the OP specified franchises, I believe we're not just doing oldest verses. Franchises are different.

The Hobbit book came out in 1937 so shouldnt LOTR be 84 years (Technically 83 until September)?

The Simpsons came out in December 1989 so thats 31 soon to be 32 years old.

Image Comics is 29 years old.
