It was a sunny day. Garfield had it easy, as usual, but not as easy as it used to be. Ever since those new neighbors moved in, he had been hearing noise. One more and he swore he'd barge in himself. Then, suddenly, he heard the thrashing around again. "That does it!"
Garfield went next door and decided to take matters into his own hands when he saw a cat chasing a mouse. Garfield, being a bit of a softie towards mice, slowed him down. "Hey! What's the big idea?" Tom just shrugged, before pointing at his owner.
"Ah, your owner's making you do it. Allow me!" Garf bowed, and Tom allowed him to proceed. Garfield then got a bit mad as he went to beat up the owner. Tom just tugged at his tail as Garfield shouted. "Get off of me!" They both went into the other room.
Tom started to make weird little hand symbols, trying to say that a cat going up and beating the [EXPLETIVE] out of the owner was a bad idea. "Oh, yeah? How about this, ya [EXPLETIVE]?"
Garf then punted Tom away as he hit a wall. Tom got back up, angry and ready to beat this tabby to a pulp.
