Well hello everyone I am back with another crt the objective of this crt would be to prove why DBZ Kai is canon to DBS anime
First let me lay some base for the argument in Dragon ball Super we can see them using flash backs from the anime for some scenes in super
1)In Dragon ball super episode 39 during Goku vs hit fight,Goku goes ssjb kaioken against hit and we can see Vegeta go into flashback of his fight with Goku when he was using kaioken in his fight in this exact moment they use a scene from the anime to represent vegeta’s flashback
2)In dragon ball super episode 76 we can again dbz anime scenes being used to show us instances of krillins death
3)During frieza return in reseruction F we can also see him getting flashback of future trunks which was showcased by an anime scene (time stamp 1:10)
4)There is also another z flash of Gohan vs cell back when future trunks meets gohans (time stamp: 0:35)
Also Gohan catching destructo disc and him kicking cell in stomach is anime only and in manga he kicked cell in the head rather than stomach
Contradictions to DBZ manga
Now there are clear contradictions present in dragon ball super anime which contradicts it following original manga 1:1
1)Absence of Gregory
In dragon ball manga Gregory never made an appearance but we can see Gregory being present in all of super anime one of the example being here

Also official dragon ball website mentions him being a ‘tv series’ only character

So again Gregory being present in dragon ball super anime puts dbs anime being direct continuation of manga into question
2)Future trunks story
In Dragon ball during trunks story we can see trunks has already achieved super Saiyan and is training with Gohan
While in Dragon ball super it is shown that trunks achieved super Saiyan during gohans death which was also the case in dragon ball z Kai anime implying that dbs anime follows dbz Kai version of future trunks story rather than the original manga itself

3)Ginyu and bulma side story
In dragon ball super anime episode 22 it is implied that the entire side story when Ginyu switched body with bulma in frog form also took place in dbs anime which is a dbz anime only thing and doesn't happen in manga to solidify this they literally use flashbacks from anime itself to describe the whole Ginyu side of the story which further implyes that dbs anime has clearly taken side story from anime itself and isn't 1:1 to the original manga
4) Satan stuff
In anime it is shown to us that Mr Satan disciples are present in dbs anime while they aren't present in the original manga which once again focuses on the point how dbs anime is direct continuation of dbz anime itself
5)Semi perfect cell Vs Gohan
In dragon ball super episode 47 we can see flash backs of cell saga represented by using dbz anime scenes now in this particular scene

we can see in the above flashback the fight between ssj2 Gohan and semi perfect cell is shown which never happened in manga since in manga cell directly went to self destruct himself when he returned back to his semiperfect form
solidifying the fact that the entire fight is canon to dragon ball super
Counter Arguments
Now there are some counter arguments which people usually bring to deny Kai being canon to dbs anime so I am gonna try to counter
1)”They use flashbacks cause they can't use manga panels to show manga only stuff in anime”
Counter: Toei is more than happy to reanimate stuff as they have done many times for eg them reanimating frieza vs Goku fight on namek during trunks special instead of just using flashbacks from anime

Heck they literally animated the whole trunks turning into Super Saiyan as per the story of dragon ball z anime instead of reanimating using the manga story and making trunks have super Saiyan from the start which was the case in the manga which puts emphasis on the fact that the writers wanted to keep the dbs anime to be the follow up of the dbz anime story

Also they have shown manga panels at credit scenes of battle of gods movie so it isn't random for toei to do that

2) But in an interview iyouko said this “Dragon Ball Super is a story take place in the climax time era of the* **Dragon Ball manga”

Counter:If we are going by that route even Kai was said to be accurate to the original toriyama story aka manga by its producer
Heck they even go as far as saying that they wanted to be faithful to the original manga and in chozenshu 2
They even go as far as saying that they omitted some parts of the anime to stay faithful to the original story yet we can see contradiction present in Kai same can be said for Dragon ball super as there are clear contradictions present in the anime series which puts it being follow up of the original manga into question So a statement like just gets contradicted by the source material andbit is just an umbrella term which means that dbs is just an adaptation of toriyama’s story or even if we have to take statement literally there is this thing

As you can see above it places bog movie between z manga and gt now does that mean that gt is canon to dbz manga as bog is prequel to gt or is bog canon to gt no obviously not it talks about how there would be a flim after the time era of db manga and gt similarly we can argue the above statement about dbs is just referring to time era and actual story of toriyama rather than it being a 1:1 continuation of manga and disallowing Kai to be canon to dbs anime

Counter: Now there is evidence that galactic patrol or Jaco existed in dragon ball way before as it was mentioned in daizenshu
As seen above it clears mentions there being a space police which patrols the galaxy meaning that galactic patrol existed even before the original prequel was made so there is no reason to believe that they don't exist in Kai and the should only exist in dragon ball manga
So in short my proposal is this
Dragon ball z Kai should become canon to Dragon ball super anime
Dragon ball manga should become canon to Dragon ball Super
