To anyone versed to any extent on Exalted, or at all interested on it

Title says it all. Anything White Wolf related is more or less nonexistent in here as was the case for oWoD until Uldmaster started giving it his attention, so I had to ask...

Anyone here at all familiar with the Tabletop Exalted, to whatever degree, or interested in it? I've been curious about the possibility of making profiles of it or even just discuss it with anyone.

Wanted to give it a try, but its system never caught my attention (generally I just look forward ttrpg where I like its system, otherwise I do not get into its lore... or if they have too much material, too lazy for that).

Understandable, especially when there's a lot of material.

Perhaps the 3e version would be more to your tastes, but no clue. Still, I am mostly interested in the lore and such stuff, which ends making me annoyed so much is left hanging in the air for the benefit of letting people use their imagination.

Tabletop games tend to be that way, few stuff are free spot for the GM to fill it with its own creations, Anima is that way in few instances so is PF (although, it generally do not make it inconsistent).

Thankfully it doesn't go to the point of inconsistency, the issue is when there's a heck ton missing that just makes things hard. I am aware some stuff is left for the sake of the GM to exert his imagination, but, and this may just be me, I don't think I've come across a case where this happens quite as much.

One of the most powerful beings in the setting gets barely 3 of its power and one of its artifacts described, and then a general idea of "if forced to go all out, this would be nothing compared to the reality altering martial arts and sorcerous bullshittery he'd pull out". Like a super clear idea what it'd be but just leave it as a nebulous tease.

Welp, guess you'll just focus in canon characters, they most have their own feats and such; plus, whatever they have in their sheets as additional powers.

Then you got beings as Oramus, that do not really fight other characters (in general profiles for non combative characters, even if they are creator/monotheistic entities, are pretty boring).

Yeah, best I can get. I do at least have a much more complete set of powers for one of the top tiers, which is nice. If the series hadn't tanked and had to go into 3e, might have seen it by now but the best hope now is merely hoping 3e goes well and that I see these Top Tiers, to whatever extent, in this new slightly reformatted version. One good thing is that there was the Scroll of Exalted before it flopped, with a lot of the characters for all types of exalted and all of their powers noted down which helps a lot. Could only wish there was a better way to scale people besides essence levels, though.

I mean, at least Oramus you can get something out of it, if only because the Infernals have actual usable charms for many, if not all, of the Yozi. Wouldn't allow you to make a profile for Oramus, but getting an idea is better than nothing. We do know, at least, Oramus imagined all possible moon gods and Cithara or whatever her name was manifested them when they made Luna. So here's to hoping for some chunky 3e demon stuff when all is settled and more splats start coming out.
