We have more proof of the Ninja Turtles, especially Raphael, getting rage boosts in the IDW continuity.
An Enraged Michaelangelo knocks down and hurts Slash with a strike when in the previous issue, Slash had dominated Leo, Raph and Donnie at the same time. IDW Issues 15 and 16.
Shredder compliments Michaelangelo's newfound rage after he lands a few blows that hurt him, Donatello in a rage sends Shredder flying and Shredder notes his new power. Raph in a controlled rage matches the Shredder in a Bladelock and kicks him away. Literally pages before, the turtles were getting stomped by Shredder in a 4v1 and most of their attacks laughed off. IDW issue 50.
In the same issue, Splinter and Shredder say that the Rage fire of Hamato Yoshi (the same one Raphael and to a lesser extent the other turtles have, repeated here in the 2023 annual) gives Splinter strength.
Future Raphael notes that his rage gave his younger self strength. IDW 2023 annual.
This proves that the rage amp isn't just for the 2002/2012 Turtles but is a consistent part of their repitoire.
