Tier Low 6-B Tournament of Regeneration 2022: Sage Centipede (OPM) vs Jin Mu-Won

If it was known that it was 930 km in size, then I don't know why people voted for Jin. He can't really do anything against that, and the fact that it needed an 5-C attack to disperse it and we're not even sure if it was enough to kill it.

Anyways, SC apparently has a core that needs to be destroyed in order to not regenerate? If so, then with Omnidirectional Sense, Jin would likely be able to pinpoint it and destroy it.

What's SC main shtick?
 
It doesn't seem to have anything that crazy, and thankfully doesn't need to be dispersed all at once like ENW and doesn't have an endless source to regenerate from. The only shtick it seems to have is regeneration, but it has a core that needs to be destroyed in order to nullify its regeneration.

Also, based on the scan in its weakness section, "Every time you regenerated, there was a certain spot on you that was releasing energy.", Jin would easily be able to deduce where that spot is thanks to his extreme senses and energy sensing, as well as omnidirectional sensing.

Sage Centipede is extremely large and boasts great strength, being one of the largest monsters to have existed. (1846.482 km long)
SC also possesses an extremely durable exoskeleton, which protects his body. It has enough toughness to initially withstand attacks from an evolved Garou and Metal Bat (Who were both Low 6-B at the time), without visible damage
SC could also effortlessly recover from any damage caused by both Garou and Metal Bat, with the former even commenting Sage Centipede on his regenerative abilities, stating that if he is not destroyed from the head to tail at the same time, he can just keep regenerating
 
The core still exists, and from the weakness section scan, it doesn't seem that large, so a single one focus or two should be sufficient.
 
Sage Centipede is 4.6 teratons. Jin scales to Dam's casual hand flick that is 2.89 teratons. So SC has the ap advantage.

Jin on the other hand has One Focus, which one shot his uncle, who would've been able to knock Jin unconscious with his attacks had it not been for Snow Flower.

Also, although his regeneration negation doesn't reach Mid, it should still at least slow it down a bit than usual.
 
The core is close ish to the head, wich is ironically one of the most exposed parts when it`s charging at an opponent. It's also like a little bigger than garou in size likely much bigger in volume.

ENW was apparently 930 KM in size (which is bonkers), has an endless source for regeneration (The Ocean), and needed a 5-C attack to disperse it.

People were voting for Jin for whatever reason, despite the fact he can't do anything against it, and no one else in the tourney seems to be able to as well since they need the range of thousands of kilometers to affect it entirely.

And for the 7th time, ENO is mindless according to the wiki page, so it wouldn't work. The only way you can change that is via CRT.


Snowflower would 100% work on SC. tho. I figure this Jin would probably try to use Snowflower once he sees how massive SC is, or would think of doing it sooner or later.
 
Would he even need to? His skill + Omnidirectional senses would notify him about the weakness of the SC, and he'll just take out its core.
 
True, but Jin's mind manip is a very viable win-con that he can achieve near-instantly at the start of the battle, Fanta thinks.
 
Probably, but he doesn't open up with it.

Although it definitely is a last-choice option, because if SC somehow knocks Jin unconscious, then SC will get mind manip'd by the sword.

He can also just paralysis it/lock it or whatever if he struck the sword inside SC. He likes to do that sometimes if he is having trouble.

Well, guess voting to guy that dodges mountain size AOE...

Wait, wouldn't he need to be faster them the atack to dodge such a AOE?

Speed equalized wouldn't make this redundant?
