Thor can't kill Garm permanently and can't handle space-time rending Claws or being devoured and destroyed.

This feels like a stomp.

I wouldn't know. We don't even know if Garm would come back if Fenrir was killed somehow. And Fenrir is basically slightly nicer Garm with 1 life, anyway.

I mean Thor was doing fairly well against both the World Serpent and Ragnarok at the same time so I don’t think he’d get stomped that hard, what’s stopping him from just dodging or fighting from a distance like Kratos and Atreus did?

There's a wincon for Thor you guys aren't considering: his BFR via time travel. Though it's not something he can consciously control, it's still possible for Thor to do this if the battle goes on for long enough.

I think Thor would win this one. Thor's got very high stamina and could endure severe injuries during his second battle with Kratos in Asgard. Thor would just have to draw the battle out long enough and kill Garm enough times before he would finally send Garm back in time. This means Garm would be trapped in the past, and according to the VS wiki rules, a BFR for a set period of time is another form of victory.

But Garm doesn't start with that in-character. He usually uses his ice attacks and paws to attack. We also don't know enough about how that ability works since we've never actually see him use it.
Brother it's literally just Garm eating stuff up that gives him CM Type 2. He literally ate up a season and a word, Mimir's own words. Normal bites and eating. There's nothing special about it.
