The Witcher 8-C+ upgrades and some stuff to add

Hello everyone. During a discussion on the Witcher Universe server, we decided to give a chance for Witcher 2 feats. This game has dragons so it is good to find some feats.

Here is the calculation. 8-C+ for everyone that scales to 8-C. It is simple.

Now some resistances Quen should give to Geralt when activated and for everyone else who can use Quen

  • Ice Manipulation and Cold Resistance (Quen could protect Eskel from Wild Hunt cold, that could freeze Geralt sometimes)
  • Heat Manipulation (Quen can protect Geralt against hot water and other heat attacks)
Ok. Now the storm feats part. We should move on to the generic storm value, wich is Low 7-B and remove the Environmental Destruction, because mages and some Wild Hunt members do it via magic. Their magic has this potency. Quen in general should scale to this value, since it is a forcefield that can protect Geralt to almost everything used against him. It wouldn't be an outlier since it only scales to his shield.

I have some other things to add but I will need to get some scans first.
 
Also good for me. And yeah, the Low 7-B should only scale to his barrier.

I always knew that the Dragon had better feats under its sleeves.
 
Mages having Low 7-B AP seems a big outlier

Or it upgrades Geralt physically because he can survive attacks from them without Quen, like his fight against Keira
 
Have Geralt ever tanked magic from mages like Yen or Keira during a cutscene? Because he tanked magic from Triss during a cutscene, with Quen
 
So you are discarting gameplay ? Then downgrade some people because they are 8-C thanks to not-dying-with-one-hit in gameplay, like Wild Hunt randoms who scale to Roche who's currently 8-C via this

Also, being completely one shoted by mages goes against the books, since Geralt can survived their attacks without Quen
 
Hmm, no I am not. I am just saying that not all random attacks a mage use is Low 7-B. Well your example is a bit iffy because Roche can scale to Zoltan or some other character. But some random members of Wild Hunt could trade blows with both Geralt and Lambert during a cutscene, so..

I don't get your point about the second part
 
Actually lol, his profile was updated and I wasn't aware, forget what I said about him

My second point is clear, Geralt can survive their attacks without Quen in books and in gameplay for the games
 
Sorry but I've never heard about Geralt surviving magic from Yen or Triss in books without a signal.
 
Even if he could, that's inconsistent. Why would he activate Quen to protect himself and Lambert from Triss' attack if he can tank it by himself?
 
Same thing why Sasuke uses Susanoo even having Dura to tank a attack, it's just precaution, why having a shield and don't use it
 
Why wasting magic power to tank something you can tank normally

But what makes Keira equal to Triss? Statement? A fight? I don't remember anything related to this.

Yes Keira's doesn't destroy Geralt, but Geralt can't one shot her even with Human level durability. That's game mechanics. Geralt doesn't scale to Low 7-B physically

Both are 5-C, Sasuke can tank attacks with his body but uses Susanoo, same thing with Geralt

So Sasuke tank Naruto's strongest abilities without using Susano? Is Sasuke a monster or what?

If she doesn't scale then yeah, I guess Eredin, Caranthir, Triss and Yen can scale
 
I mean, even if Keira scales. She doesn't one shot Geralt with her Low 7-B magic, even tho Geralt is 8-C+. But Geralt can't one shot her despite human level durability. That's game mechanics
 
Since the 8-C+ has been basically accepted unanimously by everyone, should it be a problem if it is applied to all the characters now?
 
Well, Dante was the only who had problemd with it but we've explained to him about game mech and such. Seems ok now
 
I haven't touched the Tier 7 side at all, only the 8-C stuff, which should be fairly uncontroversial.
 
What are even the tier 7 feats aside from weather stuff?

The only thing I can remember off the top of my head is Sabrina raining meteors on the battlefield in TW2, which decimated 3000 soldiers of the Aedirn and Kaedwen armies. Was seemingly a casual feat.
