The scenario is not all out war, but rather a scenario akin to GATE.
In the year 2021, (specifically an alternate timeline without COVID), a portal opens up randomly in the Pacific Ocean near Japan. The portal is the size of Long Island. The United Nations is quick to set up a cordon around the portal and surveys the other side via drones. Revealing it is a large oceanic region with numerous islands nearby. Thus, an allied fleet consisting of the US 7th Fleet, Russian Pacific Fleet, Chinese North Sea Fleet as well as smaller contingents from NATO and Pacific nation navies is sent through the portal as they have no real idea what's on the other side. The portal is connected to an area in the New World near the Grand Line.
The World Government is known to destroy any threat rivalling its own in power. But obviously, getting rid of the UN won't be that easy. How would they react to this foreign power with military technology unfathomably above their own? How would the world of One Piece react to the UN's presence, etc.
I'm curious to see how y'all think the WG would handle the UN. At least from what we know, they've never really dealt with an opponent with similar if not superior military abilities. Let alone another global government.
P.S this is less of a battle and more of a first contact scenario, how would the world of OP change with the UN's entry? An all out war between the WG and UN would result in Kizaru lolstomping us, if he was restricted then the UN would win pretty badly. So it's kinda pointless to debate that unless you wanna argue we support the revolutionaries or something.
