So we're Isekai'ed into a fantasy universe. A god of mischief has sent us there to the Fantasy world which is somewhere between Conan the Barbarian and Lord of the Rings in tone, that has it's own Dark Lord. We assume the role of The Wizards, much like The Istari of Lord of the Rings. In connection with this other world is an alternate version of Earth. This other Earth is much like ours, but with important historical differences. Magic is real there, for starters. There are fictional locations and people that never existed in ours, and other differences.
Here are the Titles we can have:
The White: White magic is better at healing.
The Black: Black magic is better at necromancy.
The Red: Red Magic is better at elemental manipulation. Doesn't matter if it's fire, ice, lightning, etcetera.
The Green: Green magic is great at plant, earth, and nature based magic, such as animals.
The Blue: Blue magic is good at the magic of gaining knowledge.
The Grey: Grey magic is good at time magic. Time travel is almost impossible, however. If anyone can, it's a Grey Wizard.
Many Colors: There is one NPC wizard. One player character may become one of these. When they do, another Wizard of their former color has to step in their place.
Spellcasting, And Power(s):
All wizards can learn to cast spells. All PCs begin with three special powers that have to do with their Title, three memorized spells, and innately gain more power over time. In order to learn spells, they have to actually learn by mouth of others, or learn through studying books, scrolls, etcetera. Spells learned can be outside their particular Title role.
In addition, there are more Titles out there but they have been presumed lost to time. These include "Of The Matrix" and "Of The Eyes".
