The battle of the most powerful sorcerers of their respective universes.

Ainz Ooal Gow vs Doctor Strange

Battle takes place on Yggdrasil

Speed equalized

Round 1: In character. Ainz has all of his weapons and Strange has the Time Stone.

Round 2: In character. Ainz has all of his weapons and Strange doesn't have the Time Stone.

Who wins?

I'll vote for Ainz. All he has to do is use a Death spell in order to win, which just takes a thought, while Strange's spells require a slight delay. The Time Stone doesn't really change much since Strange has to open the Eye of Agamotto before he can use it.

It's not very related to this thread but can I ask you something about Ainz? Is all of his hax are thought-based? Does he always lead with deathhax?

He can make his spells thought-based or he can cast them normally, which takes a little longer. The only reason he normally says his spells out loud is because it was customary to do so in Yggdrasil in order to let your allies know what you're doing. In situations where he needs to cast quickly, or when he doesn't know the strength of his enemy, Ainz will opt to cast silently. Especially in a situation like this where Ainz knows absolutely nothing, he will try to use instant win moves like his death spells or time spells first. Ainz prefers to use death spells, though, since that's the main focus of his character build. Since he's facing a human, he has little reason not to use a death spell first.

Yes. Ainz is paranoid and does not underestimate unknown opponents, doubly so if they have unusual equipment like Strange does.

Ainz will lead with Death hax, followed very closely by Time Stop in terms of how often he'll use stuff

The author even flat-out stated that you generally need to be resistant to death and time manipulation to have a fair fight against Ainz.

But they are at least not passive right? As long as they are thought-based it's alright. You are seemingly knowledgeable on Ainz so Imma summon you on redux thead
