Ant mind checking this doom crt please?
Agreed. It has turned near impossible to scale from them thanks to the antics of Jason Aaron and certain other writers. The Celestials
What did Jason and the others do to make them job and impossible to scale. (With great power comes great irresponsibility)Agreed. It has turned near impossible to scale from them thanks to the antics of Jason Aaron and certain other writers.
XD
Well, my memory is vague at this point beyond recalling that he did it a lot back when I read his stories several years ago, but for example he let Jane Foster have as much problems with the Silver Samurai as with Odin, and let regular superheroes efficiently fight Celestials. What did Jason and the others do to make them job and impossible to scale. give examples please thanks
Thats at least the second if not the third time he makes the same thread about Spiderman going 5-B, but funny how people keep commenting on that but my thread no one does
Regular superheroes,Well, my memory is vague at this point beyond recalling that he did it a lot back when I read his stories several years ago, but or example he let Jane Foster have as much problems with the Silver Samurai as with Odin, and let regular superheroes efficiently fight Celestials.
Pffff your average celestial is a planet buster and is still powerful even when weakened, I don’t think the avengers stand a chanceJason Aaron wrote the part where Avengers 1000000 BC fought a weakened celestial but i dont think it is really a scaling problem
He was against Odin and phoenix and agamotto its not the average avenger and again the celestial was heavily weakened almost dead actuallyPffff your average celestial is a planet buster and is still powerful even when weakened, I don’t think the avengers stand a chance
Tbf, she didn't struggle quite as much as against Odin, and she still soundly defeated Silver Samurai (unlike Odin, in which the fight ended in an inconclusive stalemate). Also, part of the reason she struggled might be due to her using lightning to charge up his armour.or example he let Jane Foster have as much problems with the Silver Samurai as with Odin
Oh you said avengers so I assumed it was the superhero teamHe was against Odin and phoenix and agamotto its not the average avenger and again the celestial was heavily weakened almost dead actually
It was but it was the 1000000 BC avengers teamOh you said avengers so I assumed it was the superhero team
Iron man had super armor so I don't think it countsHe wrote a story where Thor, She-Hulk, Iron Man, and Ghost Rider could fight them on roughly even footing. Thor and She-Hulk were physically larger than normal, but even so.
speaking of him, ghost rider is inconsistent isn’t he sometimes?Ghost Rider is Ghost Rider
it's inconsistent as **** although there are times when it's said that's because of his hostspeaking of him, ghost rider is inconsistent isn’t he sometimes?
(especially the penance stare)
Like sometimes it works on people who have no remorse and sometimes it doesn’tit's inconsistent as **** although there are times when it's said that's because of his host
Like not working on Captain MarvelLike sometimes it works on people who have no remorse and sometimes it doesn’t
Get your shit together marvel.
Celestials are THE most inconsistent characters in fiction. Sometimes they can stomp odin, fight galactus etc and sometimes they get fodderized by thor with axe amped by his own blood. Hell, he killed exitar with full power. Ymir is on odin level, he even fought surtur 1v1 as well. I think ymir could be on their level.Ymir should be nowhere near as powerful as a Celestial, much less a tiny vial of his blood. It simply made Thor and She-Hulk larger, and Iron Man used a large armor. That's pretty much it.
