Rules of the Fight: This is when Soma has all of his skills in the end of his second game and Ragna is just at the end of BlazBlue: Centralfiction and was going to replace the Master Unit. The two are in character and that the fight is K.O.

Plotwise (If you want a good story for a fight!): Ragna just defeated Susano'o and Izanami and is going to replace the Master Unit but was sucked away and thrown into the Castlevania universe somewhere when Soma defeated Dmitrii and Celia in Dawn of Sorrow. Soma Cruz sensed a very dark presence within Ragna and assumed he is a vampire trying to become the next dark lord while Ragna is freaked out by sensing such a mavolent energy coming from Soma as the two then battled.
