The Nasuverse Profiles Problem

and this as well.

and this

Ok, I think all of the pages that needed to be reverted have been reverted. If you all see anything that needs to be fixed, feel free to post them here.

(P.S., to the staff, could you please relock all of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 profiles, and could the old Nasuverse Discussion Rule be put back in place for now? Thanks).

Aoko needs to be fixed, his AP is as following;

The sheer amount of energy she has to use and the time paradoxes she causes will greatly accelerate the heat death of the universe, and will ultimately result in its definite destruction

Misses the scan and the feat should be WAYYYYY higher than large island lvl

Discussions to re-examine the previous revisions will be done in a separate thread.

Regarding rolling back all the profiles, I am neutral on the matter.
In my mind better to just fix them all at once rather than rollback to already acknowledged bad justifications. Just lock them and put them as Outdated until the supporters make the needed CRTs imo.

Well, the previous justifications are far better than they where they were before being rolled back.

On a test a 50% is higher than a 30% but both are still Fs.

"Hey why are half the profiles still outdated?"

Qaw, you are SERIOUSLY underestimating what 300 profiles that each need reworks does for a verse. Nasuverse is ******* huge, and if you spent an entire year trying to rework each profile and going full no-life, it'd probably not even be ******* done.

Not really.

A better comparison of what happened is that the previous profiles were like Ds and Fs (C in some cases) in score on the "Nasuverse Profile Quality Test".

And them, what Wankbreaker did was like if the student just started to draw random lines and them picked up and teared his test out of spite from the teacher and the subject.

Ngl that's on them at that point.

Bambu and I created and remade all of D&D's profiles which has a similar number to the Nasuverse, I've had to edit hundreds of profiles before we got scripts for large tiering changes, and have redid entire franchises before for upgrades. I understand what it entails, but if they're already admitting the tiers are wrong then I don't see the point in rolling back to stuff acknowledged as being incorrect.

Just put an outdated tag on them and fix it when the CRT is done.

in America. 50% is like D
The average school according to the DoE has an F at 59% or lower.

Maybe in certain schools a 50% is a D, but most will have it be an F.

The previous stuff wasn't completely wrong actually.

The verse is outdated as hell, yes, but the previous state of the profiles were in a much, much better and correct manner them after WB revisions. Some profiles quite literally were vandalized, so there's no point in maintaining vandalized profiles to the public in a wiki that wants organization with the content within it.

And this is what we want: let them how they are now and lock them from new revisions until the actual revisions from the supporters are done.

DnD profiles also focus solely on the tabletop and literally nothing else. Oh, and it's in English. Nasuverse historically has shoddy official English TLs. So, take what you did in DnD... and now quadruple that time thanks to how few translators there actually are unless you want to fork out cash by the hundreds of USD for off-site translations.

Not to mention that DnD is probably the verse with the most easily accessible content in this entire wiki, since every book published by DnD can be read on the internet for free.

I agree that 300 profiles is a lot, and usually people are not willing to even update just a couple of profiles most of the time.

If's it's magnitudes harder to make good profiles, we shouldn't be having 300+ sub-par profiles being published.

Outside of core Protagonist/Antagonist profiles, we just should just delete the ones both without sufficient scans or sources.

In any case, the OP has been resolved. Closing thread.
