Question: Would regenerating from losing your essence count as High-Godly or just more evidence for Mid-Godly? Because from what I've found in Epic Mickey, paint seems to include the very essence of toons.

That depends on what "essence" means. It's vague, even in real life. What is the "essence" of a human? Some people would answer that it's their consciousness or their "spirit", and some people would simply answer that it's something not metaphysical that they feel is most important about them, such as their personality.

I wish we could get more meta bullshit Looney Tunes powers with Disney but it just wouldn’t work with the current cosmology we have. The Human World and the Cartoon World are more like parallel dimensions than part of a cosmic hierarchy. We cap out right now at 3-A at the most although there could be some wonky Mario dream stuff in the verse as well considering Jafar states Mickey’s imagination to be an entire universe.
