Sad, but the author whacked us with a stated speed.

Han Jee-Han views mach 5 as holding back and is surprised that someone at the level of Yeonhwan couldn't move at supersonic speeds.

...However, he still needed to grow propellers to fly at mach 10. Which is weird for someone who thinks mach 5 is slow, but oh well.

Thankfully, things won't be stuck at such low speeds for the top tiers still. It is made clear that time acceleration doesn't affect the speed of projectiles, which is why the speed of a projectile is important in a fight where both parties use time acceleration. And there are feats for projectiles being far faster than mach 5.

So, new speeds would be:

Superhuman for people on Yeonhwan's level.

People who are MHS in their base go down to match 5.

Current Han Jee-Han and his equals go down to somewhere between mach 5~10.

On top of that, however:
Light abilities still remain speed of light (stated to be as fast as light, and Han Jee-Han attempted to use a laser to go through a barrier on the basis of "if the barrier is see-through, light should pass through it).
The strongest mages' blasts are Massively Hypersonic on account of being able to cross 78 kilometers right away (a single panel).

Mages with speed amplifying skills are over x20 faster with normal Time Dilatation/Time Leap skills.
Han Jee-Han's quad-spell, extreme time acceleration, made lightning visibly slow down, so MHS+ still. If it works as his deca spell, that would mean he became 10000 times faster, which would be a lot faster in this case.
Han Jee-Han's deca-spell, temporal dominion, makes him 10'000'000'000 times faster, so MFTL+ still.

Actually yeah, if speeds are consistent then statements are disposable. Look at Dyspo from Dragon Ball Super.

To an extent, but the fact that Yeonhwa uses sonic attacks doesn't really help much either. It's far more likely the swordsman of the church used a speed-enhancing ability.

Quite a few characters use sonic attacks despite being high-speed. But I suppose if the statement is more consistent then this makes sense.

Not that many, actually.

Yoohwa Shin's magic moves as fast as her thoughts. She uses thought acceleration to make her thinking 5 times faster, and time acceleration to be 20 times faster, which based on our Reactions page (assuming she is peak human) hers you 0.0008 reactions and magic soeed, which is supersonic+.

Hwan is outright stated to be supersonic.

Han Jee-Han is surprised that Cho can't fly at supersonic speeds, and considers flying at mach 5 holding back.

Later, Han moves at "Hypersonic speed" which he later specificates to be mach 10.

The faster feats would be shooting a beam across 78 kilometers in a single panel, the swordsman of the church flying faster than lightning, Han Jee-Han with "extreme speed acceleration" flying faster than lightning (which is specified to be a particle attack, that makes it superior to sonic attacks speed wise) and Han randomly flying into space on a small planet (that "continent" is Korea).

Well, all people above MHS+. They currently scale off of Swordsman of the Church, from season 4. Though earlier characters who upscale also count into it.

Wouldnt it be better to split the speed in movement and combat/reaction? as they seems to be able to fight with those that stat amp themselves.
