It's about characters clashing with each other, using hax to their advantage, not almost cruerly one-shoting your foe with ignoring all distance.
Hax is a slang word for Hacks, originating from a video game term in the same vein that Smurfs does. Down to the very essence of the word, the entire concept is about cheating in some capacity, by making statistics or other advantages simply not matter. That's kinda the entire deal, it's cheating in a combative scenario (and combat is indeed what we're doing, we're meant to be respectful but that involves primarily just going for the win), and if that just sounds "cruel" and "unfair"... you might want to go for another type of tournament.
SAO:TTRPG already demonstrated a cruel hax even without it's strongest members (from which you literally need to take a hit in order to do anything).
Statistics amplification doesn't even strictly qualify as hax, mind you. It's incredibly potent, but if you can't actually use physical force (at least, in the form that can be easily delivered by a sword) to kill something like in the case of Low-High regeneration, then it's not going to matter. Nor would it if they amplify themselves to do an attack for fair damage, only to be aged to death immediately (as is the case with some of the existing submissions)
Seeing these two brings similar vibes. One technically unkillable and absorbing everything thrown at him, the other just killing all with a snap of Existence Erasure. Not letting them in.
Not quite, Weather Report did have to actively dodge, as a default punching him in the core when he's otherwise preoccupied just is going to hurt. I also mentioned that I forgot that on CIC, but his first key lacks stuff of nearly that potency (while still having some room to work with through his optional equipment).

The "cruelty" from there is just the nature of High hax as an idea. He can indeed corrupt anyone into his clone within a certain radius, along with absorbing people's skills and other "valuable" parts of them while perception distorting how far away he actually is, but he can be defeated if you have enough range and can just snipe his clones, ideally Matador first so he's auto-teleported away and the others are vulnerable. CIC can turn people into his minions with the touch of the red universe and use a variety of minions to his advantage (including the likes of Orang, who can eat any projectiles that come his way provided they don't cause internal damage), but one guy with teleportation was able to 1v1 him so many times that he just gave up on using his Red Universe touch at all, just by virtue of the minions being tied up fighting the other memers.

They still dont mention anything about the arena itself, so the fight taking place in a pocket dimension automaticaly equalizing these two stats could work, as it's the core nature of the pocket dimension itself, the arena in which the fight takes place. Given the variable time of "getting into the middle", higher AP and durability of characters still could benefit them, not being a set restriction. It would also equalize the difference of characters stat. amplificating themselves, resulting in interesting scscenarios.
That just sounds like you're trying to bypass the rules of what can be added.

Make it a High 6-A tourney 🗿

Important news: I think I figured out a way to fix all this mess that I created

-The tournament will have 32 participants, which will create 16 teams, which will be competing in 8 matches (in round 1)
-The left side of the elimination bracket (8 teams) will be filled with various stats participants (7 tier, 6 tier, lower 5 tiers)
-The left-side matches will have AP and Durability equalized by the arena, they won't be written to the profiles

-As 7x of the participants posted till now have 6-B feats, the right side of the elimination bracket will be 6-B
-These other 6-B 8 teams competing won't have anything, besides speed, equalized. These matches can be written on the profiles
-Slightly lower AP stat participants will be allowed into the 6-B right part at their own risk, High 6-B only without danmaku and AoE attacks

In the end, the team winners of the left side and right side (of the elimination bracket) will fight in the finale (which very likely will have AP and Durability equalized by the arena too due to highly different stats, it also won't be written to the profiles, yet winner team will get a small art commission prize). So guys, let me know if you are OK with such a system and I will then start adding posted characters in!

What's wrong with Scarlet Witch? Maybe I can clarify some stuff

Reality Warping, Probability Manipulation, Chaos Magic, Life Manipulation, making enemy moves heal, etc

There doesn’t seem to be reliable ways around them, even for other haxxed enemies, but if you clarify them we’ll look at her again!

Yeah, I really don't get it. This tourney seems like a lost cause.

It could be just for fun

I want to emphasize that High hax is very swingy but it's not impossible to just have characters fight and forget about it when the thread's done

Reality warping isn't that potent, it just ties in with her probability manipulation.

As for probability: Her chaos shields always deflect attacks, but that's moot when they break. All the probability based things have a percentage chance to activate, with the exception of applying de/buffs which give a random thing from a pool of options.

Chaos Magic is just the type of magic she uses

Puts them in a near death state. In game, iirc this puts them down to a percentage of remaing hp, I think it's 5 or 10 percent, but healing back up works.

The healing thing is from the first attack against her chaos shield, subsequent attacks do damage as normal.

To really simplify, you could call it "two tournaments in 1x bigger tournament, the first one for fun having stats equalized, the other more regular with 6-B stats". Also, this allows winners from both "smaller tournaments" to clash in one big finale (also mostly about curiosity).

In one question, does any attack of Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch one-shot in a way, that makes distance and dodge irrelevant? That would be Very High Hax, being 1 "tier" above the 'High Hax' allowed.

Doctor Strange can erase memories across an infinite multiverse. He does have some BFR options too, but idk if that's and issue since you are allowed to set specific win cons.

So any enemy not having mind manipulation resistance, dimensional travel (BFR is allowed), and ability to move in stopped time is practically 100% doomed. Guess thats too much for High Hax...

But if Scarlet Witch cannot do similar one-shotting moves, she could join the "equalized half" (as High 6-A is way above 6-B) ...she just needs a teammate now

I'll get another High 6-A if that's okay

If that's the case, the second tier would probably be better to use (Grey Hulk)

He only has petrification resistance.

I mean, he literally only has physical attacks, so it's not really that bad, and it's only a debuff that he can when fighting the opponent.

Ahhhhhh, so almost half of his Savage key "abilities" are resistances, now it makes sense. Then Grey Hulk shouldn't be a problem. Maybe even World War Hulk could be let in, as the 3th key doesn't seem to be above High Hax.

EDIT: Only Mid-High regen seems troublesome, but it still can be bypassed by powerful beam blasts or similar things right?

Mid-High breaks your limit on the low-high regen limit you've set for the tournament. He can regen from being turned into powder

Will they be on a team together, or on separate teams?

Suppose I gotta throw Cin in
He is in! (Im inputting him in the last key and Low 7-B ... so he can 5x boost to have something against the hax)
Not quite, Weather Report did have to actively dodge, as a default punching him in the core when he's otherwise preoccupied just is going to hurt. Alright, Im inputting Weather Report at Breaker state, but he gets DQ'd the moment he 100% stomps the opponent team even without teammate help...
CiC = denied, Very High Hax + meme in one, so another teammate, ideally from this hub (with '???' in the table) should be chosen...
This seems really dumb to me, but I guess I'll throw in
They are in! Do you have a 3rd Stick Gang member in the equalized half, which last key could be used?
I would add Alpha Martin here, if I actually make her profile
Maybe you still could manage in time... we so far have 1/2 of the participants
The Player (Advanced Spells key, Master Spells if you think its somehow not enough)
Steve (Any key, can be a tier 5 exception due to his limited haxes)
The Player is 6-B, yet Steve sadly is not, so he will go with Super Saiyan in the equalization part. This means both will need teammates
I could suggest Gor-Talith for this if he's suitable.
How does he use Law Manipulation (Cavils are one of the species that are Rulemakers, they define rules that apply to them as well as their targets) and Pocket Reality Manipulation + BFR (The Voidfoge is an isolated reality) work? Has the enemy at least some chance to dodge/avoid it?
Yeah, I'm happy with Grey Hulk and Scarlet Witch 😊
Lastly, Grey Hulk and Scarlet Witch are in!

I mean Alpha will have stuff like void and EE as well as a black hole attack and other space attacks

Also, 20 participants are still left, so I'm raising the limit per person from 3 to 4, and Im inputting my third post GGesom (key2, Full knowledge remembered) into the equalized part. Hopefully, MintyBoy1 allows me to team him up with Cinner, it will be an iconic duo from the Low 7-B tournament...

6 SOULs Flowey shouldn't be too much despite the time stuff, right?
Base Flowey already is an extremely handy teammate (using SAVE at the fight start, basically giving him and the teammate unlimited tries as long Flowey is determined, only way would be to freeze him etc so he doesn't die and can't concentrate). Life Manipulation and Reality Warping seem deadly in key2, I played Undertale and lived in fandom but can't remember if he can one-shot by these in Inverted Fate, ignoring distance

2nd Key Flowey right now is basically just a stronger Flowey + some non-hax abilities, that might change after some reworks tho
After thinking about it tho, it would probably be better to use Frisk & Papyrus, since they're a duo for like 70% of the story
