After receiving word of civil unrest in the area, Raven was sent on a covert mission from Teen Titans headquarters to the Canopy Kingdom to discover the source of the unrest. Eventually stumbling upon information about an artifact known as the Skull Heart, she eventually made her way to a crypt in the middle of the city. Upon descending into the catacombs, she suddenly spotted a girl sitting on top of a nearby coffin, who took immediate note of her. "Yet another soul drawn by the power of the Skull Heart, I see," she said in a sad tone. Her voice seemed not to come from her, but through telepathy, as Raven took note of the stitches lining her mouth.
Her suspicions of this girl only increased as a serpent-like being burst through the top of her skull and arched down to speak with the girl. "I sense an immense power coming from her. One unlike anything I have felt before. It's too risky to take on the Skullgirl while she's here."
She nodded, and leapt off of the coffin. "Shall we, then?"
"Let's."
Raven instinctively knew what this meant, and her hands became shrouded in her black magic power as the girl assumed her fighting stance. It's showtime!
In the blue corner, we have Raven from Teen Titans, and in the red corner, we have Squigly from Skullgirls.
