An afterimage is an artistic effect where a character appears to leave faint silhouettes behind them, which are often transparent, like a ghost.

This is just an artistic effect, not something that can be scaled to other characters so only be added to Shuna's profile.

Attack Reflection (she overwrote adalman magic, making it backfire at him)

This is power modification (and power nullification), not attack reflection.

I'll just quote my opinion on this scene.

Power modification can also override power, the magic circle is driving haywire in the context of it dissipating as seen in the anime. Also by overwriting Adalman's magic, it also nullificated it. A skill that apparently works in the same logic as the anti-magic area, which overrides the use of magic by rewriting the laws of the world, and the holy field, which prevents any influence that interferes with the laws of the world. By the way, it didn't kill Adalman, it just disempowered him by invalidating his magic, and so the army of immortals that Souei and Hakurou fought, which would have continued to be resurrected as long as Adalman's necromancy magic existed, disappeared because Adalman's magic was nullificated.
