Even if a character's tier says "Varies" you have to use one the tiers they scale to and can't use anything in between. Super Shadow is either 4-A or 2-C.

Given that, this is a mismatch as Shadow either stomps or is stomped.

I read Shadow's page as "4-A to 2-C", not "or". So I thought that meant anything between 4-A and 2-C could be used :/

This kind of situation is actually covered the rules for VS matches.

The reason it says 'to' is because Super Shadow (and Super Sonic & Silver) power levels depend on how power they are able to get from the Chaos Emeralds. The Emeralds' power, at their weakest make the hedgehogs 4-A and at their strongest 2-C.

Technically, the power that the Emeralds give could be anywhere between 4-A and 2-C but because those instances have never actually happened we can't use them in a debate. Hence, the 'to' is just us acknowledging the variable power levels and trying to be as accurate as possible with the information represented on the page. We are an indexing site, first and foremost.

Pretty sure Super Sonic is Low 2-C when he fought Time Eater. Not saying that he should be Low 2-C btw cuz we all saw he fought Solaris

Are we basing off Vegeta from the Tournament of Power? He was able to trade blows with a mortal [Jiren] who is stronger than the God of Destruction, who were Low 2-C, as well as the GoD Candidate [Top/Toppo].

Though let's not forget that he gets stronger as the fight keeps going. That's what make Saiyans a formidable warrior, and Vegeta is a strategist, unlike a certain "moron" he's familiar with. Despite him [Goku] being one step ahead of Vegeta.

There won't be any getting stronger if he's obliterated in one attack without Shadow trying. Though if we technically put them both at Low 2-C with the exact same stats, Shadow out haxes Vegeta and overwhelms him with his abilities. Vegeta would most likely be the better hand to hand combatant, but once energy attack and hax come into play, specifcally time and space hax.....then it doesn't look good for Vegeta. I mean look at what Hit, who was overall either weaker than or equal to SSB Vegeta managed to do with a .01 second time skip. Imagine what Shadow could do with full blown time stop

You forget to factor in their ability to adapt. That's how Goku improves when he was fighting Hit with Time Skip, thanks to being informed by both Jaco and the king. And Time Skip is pretty much different compared to the Chaos Control that freezes time.

The thread isn't allowed to have both at low 2-C though, since shadow lacks that key.

Varies from X to Y doesn't mean you're able to use everything in between, you still gotta pick one or the other as if it was a likely or possibly.

Anyways, closing. If you want a low 2-C sonic char I think classic sonic and the weird purple secret rings sonic are there.
