Sun Wukong (RWBY) VS Ditto (Pokémon) (Grace)

Ditto often copies weapons and items, such as Farfetch'd's leek, and Cubone's skull. Though it doesn't copy held items. The only difference I can see is that held items are only revealed to the opponent if they take effect. Perhaps that is the difference, knowledge?
