I don't think Diavolo is going to try to knock out in-character though. He donuts, Gumball regenerates and this goes on until either Diavolo gets the memo or Gumball actually uses his hax. Huh, this can actually go either way somewhat.

Gumball can't though. Half of his hax is useless and in character he doesn't use any of his hax, like, at all

Then this sorta inconclusive. Diavolo won't really think of knocking him out after the first donut and would keep attacking him at different points to find a way to kill him. Maybe he'd get the idea after a while but I'm not sure.
