Spider-Man General Discussion

Spectacular holding Spider-Cat was funnier

That must've been hella time-consuming
It was because unlike Marvel vs. Capcom, players don't have much of an incentive to post videos detailing the full movesets online. Except for one guy who covered all the moves in SM1. That helped, but I had to do a lot more digging for SM2 and SM3, which was time consuming

Insomniac is gonna need a touch up in a few months anyways.
I specifically wanna cover his intelligence and skill feats since not a ton of people seem to care about those

Speaking of which...

I've been playing more of Ultimate Spider-Man
Spidey can frequently dodge bullets with his Spidey sense, so that's already an easy Supersonic rating for him
Another thing i noticed is that in challenges where you have to take out groups of thugs, one of the groups you can take on is the Die-Caste Gang, a group of people with cybernetics and high-tech weaponry, i think that's a pretty good skill feat for Spidey, especially since they're not really treated as anything major due to being part of your city goals

I also noticed that the Spider-Man 2 game also has a PSP version that's basically exactly the same as the first, I'm wondering if stuff from that could be used from there

I love the segments where you get to play as Venom, he's insanely brutal and powerful in the way he plays
Instead of web swinging he just performs a massive jump, instead of sticking to walls he claws at them and damages them, and he has moves such as faceplanting enemies or breaking their spines
A subtle detail i like is that, while playing as Spider-Man, you need to web up enemies after beating them so they don't get back up, but as Venom there is no need for that

Not only does he dodge bullets in that game, but he dodges electricity in Battle for New York. Supersonic seems pretty solid for the guy

Speaking of skill feats, I'm just gonna bring up something interesting. In Battle for New York, he defeats Silver Sable, who fights him while aided by robots she built specifically to kill him. This is consistent with Spidey beating Goblin in both games, the latter of which beat Sable (keep in kind, Norman retains his intelligence as the Goblin). In USM, Peter manages to get the upperhand against Silver Sable while having his body filled with tranquilizer darts

In the DS or GBA?

This is why i'm hoping for Venom to be playable on Insomniac Spiderman 2 just like what happened in Ultimate Spiderman
