Spider-Man General Discussion

After noticing that thread, I've been working on "notable attacks/techniques" and gallery sections similar to SamanPatou's Street Fighter revisions a long time back in my draft sandbox (not entire profiles as I could see others doing that part) hours ago, which coincidentally happen to be about the friendly neighborhood web-crawler himself as a example (we'll introduce this wiki some bangers).

Thus far, I only got GIFs in first four tabbers, links in a Infinity Gems tabber and one Hyper Combo's description left of the former section.

On my end, I may or may not be drafting some abilities write-ups should I get the green light

Another thing I wanna bring up. In the thread I mentioned how Super Skrull called Ryu the pinnacle of human perfection. I didn't realize it until recently, but in the context of MvC, that means Ryu would be considered to be more skilled than Taskmaster, given Super Skrull has met and worked with the latter as shown in MvC3's comic

If the verse is approved, this is worth remembering

And about the Raimi games profiles, is it okay if we can use other versions besides the main console version (for example, the gba versions) as secondary canon?

This could end up being interesting. I'm pretty sure this would have had to have been done after Sandman was washed away by water in the subway and hadn't yet pulled his physical form back together, so he should easily scale above this feat in his regular state. (Both low-end and mid-end results of the calc are high enough in their respective tiers that Sandman should be able to upscale to baseline of the next tier, considering that would be less than a x1.2 increase regardless of which of those two ends is more accurate)

Technically there’s a few if you wanna look at more bizarre versions. Yu Komori doesn’t really have any outstanding intelligence feats. Takuya Yamashiro isn’t know for any feats of insane intellect, though you could argue he’s a combat nerd, given he’s incredibly skilled

So uh, I know no one here besides me cares for the Tasm games, but I just remembered that the first Spider-Slayer, the crab looking one, apparently generated an Earthquake. I know anything can cause an earthquake and that it can be anything as small as the ground simply shaking, but it's food for thought.

Probably the best thing to go by for now
You can find the magnitude from it pretty easily probably, apparently citizens throughout Manhattan could feel it, and some poor sap tweeted about his house being ruined because of it. So it seems impressive. Scorpion is also twice as strong as Peter, though he beats it, and Smith's mech has armor stronger than vibranium, even though there's no comparison to what vibranium can actually withstand.

For the record, would this yield anything? Magnitude 4? 5?

Going by what was said here, it seems to fall between 5.0 and 6.0?
So I have a small mock up here

Attack Potency: around 8-C to 8-B/A, depends which end of the magnitude scale gets accepted (reasoning for scaling is because Peter can still smash open the S-01's weak spots, which stayed intact while the machine caused the earthquake)

Durability: same tier as above (though it's questionable if Peter can survive the Spider-Slayer Shockwaves, it can be chalked up as gameplay punishing the player, and Peter can still survive explosives that can harm the Smythe machines)

Speed: I forgot, but someone made a Calc here earlier in the thread of dodging thr S-02 laser blasts, so he should scale to that

Striking Strength: same as AP

Intelligence: should be equal to his Tasm 1 self

Stamina: superhuman (should scale to his Tasm 1 self, and can keep on going even after dying and getting revived, can swing around the city for a full day without rest between fights)

Of course, it would have to be cleaned up a lot
