Easy. She's 2-B and Sonic's 2-C
Any other reason? Cause you gotta remember, tiering system =/= victory. Goku: Xeno a 2-B lost to Hades a 2-C in a fight. Also this wiki doesn't scale Hyper Sonic with all those gears.

That's waaaaayy different though.

Sonic doesn't have the hax to defeat a 2-B, abstract entity.

What about Hyper Sonic with all those gears that I listed in rule #2 section? How strong would he be?

Xeno Goku lacks hax while Hades is broken and has Mid-Godly regen (he also might get upgraded to 2-A). He's one of the weakest 2-Bs on this site.

Anyways Illumina stomps due to the tier and Sonic being unable to hit an abstract.

Yeah I could see that, since Goku: Xeno so far never won a single fight in his profile. Question, how do you hit an abstract being?

Abstract beings are a living concept. They have no physical body, the body is basically just an avatar. You need to have conceptual manipulation to be able to hit an abstract.

So is that the reason why Illumina is the most powerful character in Sonic the Hedgehog game verse?

That and the fact that she's 2-B.

Oh man, tough luck for Sonic being the main character in the end. Well, at least he gets the second most powerful position in Sonic the Hedgehog game verse, right?

That would be Solaris actually.

Sonic defeated Solaris in a fight didn't he? And that wasn't even Sonic using his most powerful transformation a.k.a. Hyper Sonic.

It took Sonic, Shadow, and Silver to defeat Solaris because Solaris was omnipresent through all timelines in the past, present, and future. Solaris also has existence erasure.

Omnipresent doesn't cut the crap that Solaris still lost in a one-on-one fight against each hedgehogs in their own timeline. If Solaris was truly stronger than Sonic, Shadow or Silver, then they all would have tag teamed on him in one timeline. Super Sonic beat Solaris in present timeline, Super Silver beat Solaris in future timeline, and Super Shadow beat Solaris in past timeline.

So no, Solaris is not the second most powerful Sonic the Hedgehog game character, it's Hyper Sonic. If Super transformation can bring Sonic from Multi-Solar System level to Low Multiverse level, imagine how powerful Hyper Sonic would be if he has feats.

Tag teaming Solaris in one timeline would have done nothing as due to his nature as a super-dimensional life form, he exists in all of them at the same time. Therefore he needed to be attacked in all timelines to be defeated.

Iizuka actually stated that Hyper Sonic was merely a bonus add-on to Sonic 3 & Knuckles, therefore not canon. I'd love for Hyper Sonic to be brought back, but seeing as what Iizuka said on the last Q&A panel, Sonic Team doesn't have any plans on bringing him back.

Sega would never listen.

They actually had the perfect opportunity to do that with Infinite but he just...disappears after he got defeated by Sonic and the Avatar.

Just you wait, once Hyper Sonic returns, he is gonna be one of the 2-Bs on the site!~

Not only is this a stomp but Illumina has no other keys nor appearances outside Sonic Shuffle

There's no need to slap composite on her

If I didn't slap composite on her, it would be a bigger stomp, now wouldn't it?

No. It wouldn't. Illumina has nothing to be composite to in the game canon. It's just putting it there for the sake of putting composite there.
