Valid but shadow didn't exactly strain himself to power the cannon it was still casualShadow wasn’t taking them seriously either though, and from what I can remember nothing in the movie suggests they’re close.

I feel there’s no frame of reference between Sonic/Knuckles and whatever level of power Shadow is using at that moment. Maybe I’m missing something crucial here but I just don’t see the reasoning.Valid but shadow didn't exactly strain himself to power the cannon it was still casual
Oh I'm not saying otherwise, im just saying at least for shadow he was still casual with charging the eclipse cannonI feel there’s no frame of reference between Sonic/Knuckles and whatever level of power Shadow is using at that moment. Ohhhhhh I see. I misread what you were saying lolOh I'm not saying otherwise, im just saying at least for shadow he was still casual with charging the eclipse cannon
Sonic heroes + Sonic CD + TerminatorTo talk outside of powerscaling a bit, what are y’alls initial theories on what might happen in Sonic 4?
I have a feeling that they're going to get weird with it and incorporate elements from lesser know media. As to what that media is I have no idea but I am expecting Metal Sonic in his neo form to be the villain. Those are my guesses. To talk outside of powerscaling a bit, what are y’alls initial theories on what might happen in Sonic 4?
Base shadow should at least be 5-C with chaos energy and super shadow is low 5-B just being conservative. Here's what I've got for Shadow so far
Shadow The Hedgehog (Paramount)

He powers the Eclipse Cannon but him scaling to it seems dubious to me, since its possible that it amplifies his power in some way. I don't have a huge problem with it thoughBase shadow should at least be 5-C with chaos energy
Tails calls it oneOther than that, you gotta prove the black hole is a real one for the calc which like eh
That'd just be headcanon they never say it amplifies it, it specifically just requires him to give it his chaos energy, they all note its shadows power that powers it so saying anything else kinda just like means you'd have to prove otherwise. He powers the Eclipse Cannon but him scaling to it seems dubious to me, since its possible that it amplifies his power in some way. Fair. I calced the Eclipse Cannon based on stated radius and its only Low 5-BThat's just be headcanon they never say it amplifies it, it specifically just requires him to give it his chaos energy, they all note its shadows power that powers it so saying anything else kinda just like means you'd have to prove otherwise.
Do we have like a list of requirements? That's unfortunately not enough for the wiki
Not sure how you got that, its radius alone is larger than the entire circumference alone and outside of that the specific statement we get is at worst baseline 5-B but really should be higher than even thatFair. I calced the Eclipse Cannon based on stated radius and its only Low 5-B
Its 25000 km right? Not sure how you got that, its radius alone is larger than the entire circumference alone
No 25000 miles or 40000km+Its 25000 km right?
Oh. Yeah I ****** that up. I'll delete it from the blogNo 25000 miles or 40000km+
Alright from what I can tell it doesn't appear or expand FTL, and it has a strong enough gravitational pull that it destroys everything it touchesBlack Hole Feats in Fiction
When it comes to the topic of black holes there are a lot of common misconceptions about their nature and through that also misconceptions about the evaluation of feats involving them. Generally, black holes are often depicted wrong in works of fiction. While a completely correct depiction can...vsbattles.fandom.com
Yeah but its gotta need more than 1 requirement usually like 3 or 4 reqs need to be met, its gotta spaghettify, should have a discernable accretion disk and event horizon, the lightning coming out of it does kinda not bode well for thatAlright from what I can tell it doesn't appear or expand FTL, and it has a strong enough gravitational pull that it destroys everything it touches
Well it was good practice at leastYeah but its gotta need more than 1 requirement usually like 3 or 4 reqs need to be met, its gotta spaghettify, should have a discernable accretion disk and event horizon, the lightning coming out of it does kinda not bode well for that
Wiki be picky with black holes
10 minutes they said hence me saying at worst 5-C base since 1/600 of baseline 5-B is 5-CDoes anyone know exactly how long it took Shadow to charge the Eclipse Cannon?
Why would we use anything more than the explicitly 10 minute statement?I'll actually time it. Not counting flashbacks
Oh it was a statement in the movie? I don't remember thatWhy would we use anything more than the explicitly 10 minute statement?
Yeah they say it in movieOh it was a statement in the movie? I don't remember that
you mean the ISL one?Could using the cosmic explosion formula with the stated radius and Earth's G.B.E work?
Yesyou mean the ISL one?
Metal Sonic as a whole is one of the most intriguing parts of Sonic 4, considering Robotnik is most likely not coming back unless they want to pull a “Shadow teleported him out” (Jim Carrey’s been planning to retire for a while now, so it seems to be a proper death for Robotnik and a final send-off for Jim Carrey). Obviously the movies are more than OK with changing backstories, but that just begs the question on who made the Metals in this universe and why. Also, as a british citizen (unfortunately) who grew up with Sonic the Comic, that post credits scene with all those Metal Sonics made me very happy. Brotherhood of Metallix >>> all other versions of Metal Sonic in the franchise.
Honestly I’m guessing it probably has to deal with future timeline stuff. Like maybe stone just made metal and sent him back in time to take out Sonic or somethingMetal Sonic as a whole is one of the most intriguing parts of Sonic 4, considering Robotnik is most likely not coming back unless they want to pull a “Shadow teleported him out” (Jim Carrey’s been planning to retire for a while now, so it seems to be a proper death for Robotnik and a final send-off for Jim Carrey). Eggman was sent in the future by the explosion. so the opposite of Episode of BardockEggman was sent in the future by the explosion. BAM.
Honestly how Agent Stone continues on without Robotnik is the other most exciting part of Sonic 4 for me, more exciting than even Amy being in the movie. He’s by far the most popular original character in the movies, so he’s probably gonna have a bigger role now that Robotnik is seemingly out of the picture.Honestly I can see them having Agent Stone take the role as new main villain, maybe the Metal Sonics were in development but never finished so he picks up where the doctor left off. There's a lot of directions the fourth film can take.
speaking off eggman, who made the metal sonic's? I'd say neo-metal sonic but then who made him? Also neo metal is gonna fuse with his minions to metal overlord ain't heHonestly how Agent Stone continues on without Robotnik is the other most exciting part of Sonic 4 for me, more exciting than even Amy being in the movie. I don’t really see Stone as being someone that great with robotics, but if we go the time travel route then a future Stone creating the Metal Sonics would work.
