She was wrong because Super Sonic was just HIM (just check The End's japanese dialogue about Super Sonic transcending causality) AND because Eggman forbid her to make a simulation where Sonic and him could work together.

Archie didn't have the original documents that stated they owned Ken's creations. It didn't just happen with him, a bunch of original artists just didn't have any contract defining their relationship with Archie, and Archie just never got around to doing something about it. So, Ken just won because Archie didn't bother to do their work before the lawsuit.
They claimed it was because there was an accident and the originals were destroyed, so at most, they had some side documents that had some rules about ownership, but nothing like an actual Work for Hire contract. Had Archie done what they were supposed to do when the documents were first destroyed long ago or kept making new contracts after some time to at least update their working relationship, this wouldn't have happened.
So honestly, although even Penders at one point stated that he had a contract and SEGA did own his characters, the fault of the whole lawsuit was on Archie. And honestly, it's good. You do not want to set a precedent that a company can just say "We had the contract, we just lost it" and get that as being proof of having an actual contractual relationship with someone.

post-boot Sega was just tired of romance bs, it wasn't even sonamy, Sonic had like, romantic interests.....none were Amy really

It wasn't Sonamy's fault. And Sonally wasn't ever going to be a thing in Post Boot.......i don't think any romantic thing ever would, i like how they handle Sonic and Amy in modern media, a fine line

Having now seen the movie myself, heh, lets just say that those of you who haven't seen it will be in for a Deadly surprise when Sonics Six greatest foes arrive as the true threat of the movie.
But on a more serious note I am not the same man that I was before watching the movie

On real! I'm tired of him just being sidelined and being reduced to "Sonic, but darker". I wanna see him be full-throttle on the anime stuff. Put some SAUCE on my man's name, for real. That and Shadow detractors are annoying with their "Sonic is the real Ultimate Lifeform Shadow never wins fights and is weaker than Sonic all the time and always has been" BS. Dreadful people to talk to.

I never understood why people take that statement from Shadow so seriously, because I think the "real Ultimate Lifeform" is Shadow complimenting Sonic. Plus, saying Shadow is weaker than Sonic is borderline objectively wrong as the games and most Sonic media treat Sonic and Shadow as either being dead even in strength and speed.

I apologize on their behalf, but keep in mind they’ve been unbelievably wronged by the toxic SonAmy fans all the way back since that shipping war began so you have to keep in mind why they feel so much contempt for SonAmy.

Yeah and they treat any fight Sonic and Shadow have against each other as a complete wash rather than a high diff even fight simply to clout Sonic up as this all-powerful Goku-like when Sonic is generally at-level with everyone else around him without any insane power cliffing people pretend there is. People also overplay Sonic's AD when literally everyone in the Verse has it or they try to make things that were weaknesses years ago weaknesses that apply now. Like Shadow tiring out quickly or bot adapting quickly when he's been stated to be a raw match for Sonic in every way multiple times.

I agree for the most part but IDW doesn't help change that perception, because there tends to be a notable gap between Sonic/Shadow/Metal/Surge tier and most others (with exceptions) narratively.
Scrapnik Mecha is the worst offender of this. He's treated as comparable to an injured Sonic and literally slams Tails.

Even then there’s still a major gap. Surge was made with Sonic in mind, but their first fight had Sonic treating her like a joke. When she fought Metal, she was completely beaten until Kit cheapshotted him. Amped for their rematch, Metal and Sonic basically beat her senseless and weren’t really threatened until she pushed herself to the brink in a fierce 1v1 whilst
targeting third parties to force responses and whilst Metal and Sonic fought each other. Despite this, Surge was still stated and has shown herself to be “on level,” with Sonic, despite the fact being “Sonic-Tier” isn’t actually what we see her do within the context of those fights.
“Sonic Level” fighters have a clear spectrum in them, with major recurring game originals (Sonic, Shadow, Metal) being the top of the crop and comic or one offs being lower (Surge, Jet, Blaze).

True, if I had to change some things it would be
add maria’s illness (tho I will touch on this later), have her get shot, Gerald’s reveal makes him switch to a cold and stoic person rather than just eggman but s*icidal and have the arc be a thing as opposed to project shadow being in a mountain and project shadow being a man made weapon instead of an alien.
Now on predictions on the shadow show
It’s probably going to reveal that shadow was made by Gerald in the lab with unethical experiments, which is why they kept it hidden in the movie, Maria’s illness is also likely going to be revealed but toned down but not as severe as her game counterpart. Oh yeah and the black arms race is gonna show up lol

My belief is that The Shadow show will stop being about Shadow 3 episodes in to focus on the misadventures of Director Rockwell and the two soldiers in the prologue

Btw Shoutout to Agent Stone for continuing to be the MVP of the new characters, I’d actually like to see Eggman in mainline get an equivalent someday (albeit not exactly the same, more just someone he can vent at and get emotional support from)

I think what's cool is that unlike most movies where the henchman is secretly planning to turn against his superior, Agent Stone is genuinely loyal to Eggman in every aspect and legitimately appreciates him. And it was rather heartwarming that in his final moments, Eggman apologized to Stone and showed his own appreciation for Stone.
