Sonic Question time

Given the protagonism Shadow boy is having, we can't allow ourselves to forget the REAL protagonist

Shadow is the "Ultimate lifeform" made on the basis of the most powerful gems in the series, several powers to boot......yet Sonic beats him, yet Sonic can go super just.....because, without the connection Shadow has, even better as Shadow didn't do so well when he first went Super in Adv 2 and "died", for some reason, Sonic can do most of what Shadow can without any of the things Shadow has, some times even better as he can activate Chaos Control, a rare abbility, via fake emeral that is said by Shadow to be impossible, being able to restore space time via running just because, being able to escape Cyber Space as well just because.....

point is, here is the question/s:

If Shadow is the "Ultimate lifeform" what does that make Sonic then? What IS SONIC IN THIS UNIVERSE? just.......what is he?

My theory is that he's the same as in Archie. He's an impossibly unpredictable agent of chaos who has the plot on his side. Which is why Eggman's only real shot at victory is to just outlast Sonic somehow, just like what Mogul planned for his Archie counterpart. Shadow is still the ultimate life form because unlike Sonic, he doesn't have the weakness of being a mortal.

Makes sense.....weirdly enough, him alone is what makes Eggman not conquer the world, when he was out in Forces Eggy conquered all the planet, yet the moment he was free the take over began

Shadow the Hedgehog is the Ultimate Lifeform…based on the Mural of Prophecy Gerald saw long ago.

Sonic is the Warrior of Prophecy, the Destroyer, the one who stands above. Shadow is merely the man made artificial echoes of a “normally” made Force of Nature. So too is Eggman a Force, for he TOO was depicted in a mural of such importance even the mural of Chaos—The God of Destruction—Was deemed less important.

Sonic is Freedom. Eggman is Tyranny. Sonic is Nature. Eggman is Industrial. Sonic is good-Eggman is evil. They make the impossible possible, challenge fate, defeat/enslave gods, and escape the utter abyss on their raw will to help and hurt respectively. If Sonic is like gravity, a massive terrifying but helpful bend in reality, Eggman is a black hole, warping the fabric of space time, destroying everything nearby. Juxtaposed, forever.

The rest are merely witnesses, observers of a cosmic battle they can barely understand, of A MONSTER wearing the SKIN of a MAN. A mind of ELDRITCH proportion within a HUMAN form taking on the physical manifestation of EVERYTHING he isn’t, the APOTHEOSIS of CHAOS, the PROGENITOR of the ULTIMATE LIFE FORM.

It's simple: Sonic is the main character of the series while Shadow isn't. Therefore, Sonic has main character plot armor.

I've always thought that Sonic is the gaurdian of the Chaos Emeralds and he just doesn't know it yet.
