Someone is trying to argue Links planet level(and a lot of other characters planet level feats aren't acceptable apparently)

If he's clearly being ignorant on the feat, then there's no reason to discuss it here yes? Unless, you think he has a chance of actually being right?

Actually he is not wrong about the distribution of energy, but i don't know the circumstances of the event so i can't tell for sure.

I am just bad at detailing it, So I thought someone could go more in depth on why this feat is commonly accepted.

So when it comes to planet level feats in which a character has destroyed another character that has tanked a planet level blast, but has not shown to destroy a planet themselves, where does it put them I guess is what that person is trying to get at. (Obviously not counting Link with the triforce, but without.)

If the character is tanking the attack itself then (and it's a legit planet buster) then he gets planet level durability but if (s)he is merely standing on the exploding planet then the calc from reddit is correct.

Well yes, majora does take the hit directly, since he is floating when it hits. So I guess it does make sense, but how about Link when it comes to his attack potency (without triforce) How does that work?

The reason it should scale to Majora is because he's at the epicenter of the attack. He essentially uses it on himself, as he's quite literally one of the very first things the attack hits.

As for the moon not destroying the world, I'm pretty sure the ending directly says the moon destroyed the world.
