I recently re-read the “Alien Key” comic, canonical to the main story of Honkai Impact’s game, and I think that Ryusuke Murata’s profile is missing some abilities while others should be modified considering the whole context.
While the revision will tackle some Tier 1 things, the profile already have them listed and the majority of the stuff have enough evidences to not be considered “controversial” considering that the verse is already Tier 1.
Anyways, here are the abilities that I think should be in the profile and the ones that I think should be modified:
I want to thank the supporters of the verse for giving their input for the modification to apply, in particular Vietthai96 which gave a couple of suggestions for some of the abilities.
While the revision will tackle some Tier 1 things, the profile already have them listed and the majority of the stuff have enough evidences to not be considered “controversial” considering that the verse is already Tier 1.
Anyways, here are the abilities that I think should be in the profile and the ones that I think should be modified:
- BFR: dragged Welt to the Sugar space before he could even react;
- Forcefield Negation: his attacks are able to easily go throught Imaginary Barriers;
- Modify his AP from the current "At least 6-B, likely far higher, possibly Low 1-C with hax" to "At least 6-B, likely far higher, Low 1-C with hax": he is already without the “possibly” in the Attack Potency section and the Striking Strenght section, so it’s not a big change and it's more like a technicality. The reason for the “Low 1-C with hax” part is already listed in the profile, and it’s because he and the Sugar space form a contiguous entity, with the Sugar space being a higher plane of existence that works under a Reality>Fiction difference, seeing lower dimensions as novels and everything in them as fictional. The dimensions of Honkai Impact are already accepted as valid and the cosmology is High 1-C, with the Sugar Space being already accepted as a Low 1-C space, so this shouldn’t be a problem;
- Modify his Speed from the current “likely Omnipresent within the Sugar space” to simply "Omnipresent within the Sugar space": as explained before, he became one with the Sugar space and even Welt says that during the fight he wasn’t teleporting but he was one with the space around them in the first place;
- Change the Powers and Abilities section from the current “likely Omnipresence” to “limited Omnipresence”: he is definitely Omnipresent considering all of the above, but only inside the Sugar space and as such this ability should be “limited”;
- Add "Large Size (Type 10)": as explained before, he fused with the Sugar space to the point of forming a contiguous entity with it, and the Sugar space is a higher plane of existence that works under a Reality>Fiction difference;
- Change his Intelligence from the current “Genius” to "Extraordinary Genius": considered one of the most brilliant individuals in the world, one of the only ones that could understand how the 4th Divine Key worked, tricked two individuals with such an Intelligence (Welt Yang and Otto Apocalypse) and instantly understood how higher dimensions works.
