You don't really need to be nondual, just as long as you nonexistent and is neither existent (1) or nonexistent (0), since some verses didn't treat existent and nonexistent as duality. You can either be encompass both or not at all, as long as you do not be either of these two states then it is fine

soul minipulation is still soul manipulation, and so is information manipulation. The soul containing information is nothing special, this is normal, because information is more fundamental than the soul.

For the resistance itself, information is contained in the soul, this does not mean that the soul cannot be manipulated, there must be proof that their soul cannot be manipulated. and the same is true for resistance to information, not just because the information is in the soul, it doesn't mean the information can't be manipulated.

Too much assumptions + too much requirements, if this was the actual standard then it's just not hsr but every unconventional resistance that exist would be gone. Plus, OP only wanted to downgrade it to Type 1 Information.

Information manipulation is definitely out, but resistance stays since Garrixian isn't going to remove it and she's just replacing it with Type 1 (I'm still debating that it's Type 2 though the moment Garrixian replies to this thread).

It should be noted that in addition to encompassing both the character must be said to be non-existent otherwise it will be rejected like with Veldanava.
