I just think it's misleading to call it his original design because that design, according to the gallery here that design comes from Castlevania IV, the remake, in the original Castlevania Dracula has this design:

The first image, fyi is from the Akumajō Dracula Perfect strategy guide, a Japanese source, NOT ENGLISH!!

And also maybe look at Castlevania I cover art, does Dracula look anything like the 'classic' image we have for him?

I know this may not be all that important, but misinformation spreads like wildfire and I thought I should bring this up

Okay. Thank you for responding.

Well, I wanted to verify with members who have some knowledge about Castlevania.

Well, I suppose that it should be fine to replace the image now then. Please remember to link to this thread in the edit summary box for the page.

Well, I should note that despite the numerals, the Castlevania games takes place in different time periods. So, that's also probably the reason for the change.....though, Castlevania III and Lament of Innocence takes place before Super Castlevania IV and original can also be applied to Castlevania 1 as well. So, no issues here.

Okay. Thanks for helping out.

Should I close this thread then?
