Kind of a misleading name when it doesn't always purify the soul.

Then the examples make it misleading, is this not the type of Purification that deals with someone possessing you?

Example 1 is removing dark energy from the heart, thus it's not misleading.

Example 2 involves removing a curse, thus it is not misleading.

Example 3 involves exorcising a demon, thus it is not misleading.

Nothing written about Type 2 is misleading.

None of that have to do with the soul, not necessarily on the last one. Possession, as the page says, can be in many ways. Dealing with one doesn't mean being able to deal with all of them.

More clearly; If I can remove someone from another one's body then my powers don't have nothing to do with souls.
