Thermonuclear Godzilla Upgrade

Shouldn’t Thermo be >2x base since he’s base Godzilla’s power + nuke + Mothra? And also maybe Ghidorah should be around 2x base with his power plant amp as after it he insta-killed Mothra, whilst before he was struggling with Rodan who Mothra is about equal to
When the heck was he struggling with Rodan? Rodan clashed with him once and got folded in seconds, he wasn't even a challenge. Mothra and Rodan scale entire way below Godzilla and Ghidorah and are not viable for the same level of power.

Stanton’s line is “Jesus they’re killing each other” implying that it’s an even fight until the Gravity beam is used. And the Gravity Beam only knocks out Rodan for a while whilst when used against Mothra in Boston, she dies almost instantly. Mothra’s silk (produced by her own body) also restrained an uncharged Ghidorah for a long period of time, and only failed because Godzilla immediately destroyed the building that he was attached to.

That just means they were trying to kill each other as otherwise we'd see mortal wounds. An equal fight in Monsterverse has monsters duking it out for a while, meanwhile the fight with Rodan lasted barely any time and had Rodan give in very fast with Ghidorah being unharmed. On the other hand Godzilla and Ghidorah were taking each other's hits constantly without getting wiped out fast, they literally fought through the night in Boston.
Additionally you're contradicting yourself here, Rodan scales to Mothra as they fought and they both did significant damage to each other, but Rodan tanks it and Mothra gets vaporized? How is that scaling?
Them both not being able to tank a gravity beam further supports that they aren't equal to them.

Finally, the silk argument doesn't work because getting out of silk depends on LS and not AP

What I meant was clearly Ghidorah was much more powerful than before since he completely vaporised Mothra whilst Rodan, who is comparable to Mothra, was only briefly knocked out with no visible signs of damage.

If you recall, in the fight Rodan was literally atop Ghidorah albeit briefly. This is despite the fact that Ghidorah won the initial clash. This seems to suggest that Rodan briefly overpowered Base Ghidorah, making him very comparable in power to him rather than leagues below him.

Fair enough. Will concede here

Sure, he got stronger, but since Rodan and Mothra are weaker than him anyways it just means at one point he wasn't strong enough to vaporize her and then became strong enough to vaporize her. Additionally he used 3 heads for her but it took a beam from one head for Rodan. It doesn't warrant a 2x multiplier. Heck we might be able to downscale Rodan to 1/3rd of Ghidorah's AP. Additionally you have to note that Rodan is very durable and really good at tanking stuff as he lived when Mothra stabbed him.

They were spinning and falling through the air so at one moment he simply got the upper position. We literally never even see him land a proper blow on Ghidorah before he got grabbed and shot down with one gravity beam. Grabbing and moving someone in the air is not that great of a feat.

When they initially clash though, you can see that initially Ghidorah has a hold on him and is right side up. Cut to next shot, Ghidorah’s no longer got a hold of Rodan and is upside down. Them both tumbling through the air would suggest that at one point Rodan broke free and had the upper hand, however briefly. I’m not denying that Ghidorah is stronger than Rodan but they are clearly physically closer than it may appear on first glance. And Thermo Godzilla had the energy of someone who was a physical peer to Rodan (who is slightly below Ghidorah and Godzilla tier) plus the temple nuke and the radiation from his temple. That should likely put thermo at double his base energy.

Even if we say that Mothra is comparable to Ghidora and Godzilla (Which it's pretty clear she's not), she was damn near death when Ghidora finally finished her off so any power she did give to Godzilla is unquantifiably less than her full power even if we assume the power transfer was exactly equal (Which we have no reason to believe that's how it works). The nuke is also an unquantifiable amp as Godzilla fared about the same against Ghidorah in his final fight as he did in his first and second fight (Godzilla having a very slight edge in power) and presumably most of the energy went to healing Godzilla back from a near death state. So all in all, it still remains a unquantifiable + unquantifiable amp to base Godzilla which per wiki rules don't qualify for a 2x multiplier.

I don’t know if I’d say she was near death. Her wings were burned and she was tired out but her body was intact and she still had enough energy to fly to Ghidorah and try to block the Gravity beams. I don’t think amped Ghidorah would get a double amp but he was much more powerful than before when comparing his performance against Mothra and Rodan. And Thermo was so much further above amped Ghidorah that he couldn’t even phase him.

You... your kidding right? Mothra was struggling to even stand up with tattered wings and visible wounds. She basically just threw herself at Ghidorah in a vain attempt at saving her boyfriend. Ghidorah was indeed more powerful after his amp, but unquantifiably so. As it is, Godzilla tanking his beams is just not enough evidence for any type of multiplier besides upscaling.

That seemed to me more like she was tired out. Ghidorah also absorbed energy from Godzilla before he became Burning. So Ghidorah should likely have been even more powerful than when he disintegrated Mothra, when he fought Burning Godzilla. But I’ll concede now. Either way though, Burning G should definitely get High 6-B

That's not allowed, so I've changed the thread title.
Since you can do that cant you take two seconds to read and evaluate the thread? It's kinda scummy to barge in on a simple thread that has been ignored by staff for months now only to change the title and not actually take the time to consider why we did that in the first place.

Evaluations take much longer than two seconds and the thread is talking about multipliers and upscaling with no supporting scans in the OP.

There's not enough information for me to form an opinion about a verse I don't know much about.

Since when has that been the case? From what I recall being far above a person bordering on the next tier has always been viable for upscaling as long as it was within 1.25x. Has that changed recently or am I just misinformed?
It what was said to me in another thread. But from the actual rules this is the only noted criteria:
It is possible for a character who is depicted as vastly superior to another in a statistic to be placed in a tier above the other, given that the other character is close to the the next tier. However, this ultimately needs to be decided through case-by-case analysis.
You would need to prove that Godzilla is "vastly superior" to Ghidora, which idk, seems to be mostly correct going by the video.
