Hagrid is probably smarter, more skilled, & more dextrous, but....
Hagrid:

Shrek:

Perhaps this isn't an exotic animal Hagrid is fit to tame, seeing as Shrek is about 92.51 times higher in terms of AP. What about other statistics?
Speed
Shrek's speed is:

Subsonic reactions (Dodged the arrows of an expert archer with ease)
....Why his profile uses 40 miles per hour/64.4 kilometers per hour. So he should be able to move that fast, & has Subsonic reactions for dodging arrows.
Hagrid has
Subsonic combat speed for hitting wizards before they can react, so he should be 34.3 to 171.5 meters per second.
In theory, Hagrid could try hit & run, since he can move faster in combat than Shrek can move, but Shrek's reaction speed can probably still keep up, even if the rest of his speed can't.
Durability
Shrek:
Wall Level. (With several justifications on it for his profile to read.)
Hagrid: At least
Wall level, likely
Building level.
So Hagrid MIGHT survive Shrek's attacks, if he's even baseline Building Level, seeing as Small Building Level begins at 20,920,000 joules. Much higher than Shrek's 1,602,239.76 AP.
Lifting Strength
Shrek:
Class 10 (Much stronger than
Puss in Boots, who could wrestle bulls even as a little kid. Can overpower Puss with just one arm. Can uproot trees and pick up large metal gates)
At least
Class 1 (Wrestled trolls when he was only a boy. Effortlessly hauled giant Christmas trees), likely
Class 10 (Easily turned a gun into a knot. Handled Madame Maxime's horses which are as large as elephants, as well as Acromantulas which are as big as small elephants)
As it stands, Shrek either one shots Hagrid, or can't even scratch him, so let's go to a common means of other win conditions to settle this: Lifting Strength!
If either is strong enough, he could bury alive or suffocate the other. Maybe even toss them away, seeing as Class 1 is 454 to 1000 kg, & Class 10 is 5000 to 10,000 kg.
Hagrid himself is approximated to weigh 535 kg . Given Shrek's Class 10, he can definitely lift him.
Hagrid isn't Class 10, but Shrek isn't twice the size of a grown man like Hagrid either, last I checked. I doubt he'd weigh TOO much.
So, I guess I'd need someone to tell me who should be more likely to overpower the other. Who's LS are better? Because so far, that seems important to the outcome.
Lastly, there's Stamina to consider:
Shrek:
Stamina: Very high (Capable of traveling for days on end without issue. Ran for several hours without stopping despite being in harsh winter conditions. After crashing through a tower made out of pure rock, he got up like nothing happened)
Hagrid:
Stamina: Superhuman (Can survive a considerable amount of beating from giants. Remained conscious after being tortured by Death Eaters)
So can anyone help work this out?
