Shido can open portals to redirect Zeref's death magic, or even seal his magic power. There is also Metatron's automatic teleportation, though im not sure if it would work.

I dont remember Zeref resisiting having his power sealed, also, Shidou's sealing is combat applicable.

Overall, Shidou has the advantage due to his versatility... but Zeref is immortal. Shidou could win via BFR (he should be able to send him to space) or sealing his immortality (not sure about this).
