Oh hey I made this but with Cloud instead, as far as Im concerned Cloud is stronger than sephiroth right?
Surprisingly, no, not quite. The devs have been pretty insistent that Sephiroth is pretty much the undisputed top dog in Final Fantasy VII. Well, Cloud did surpass Sephiroth in the original game, but when the FFVII sequels came around a few years later, they pretty much went "Yeh, we decided Sephy shouldn't be second fiddle to anybody" and since then Cloud's victories all were due to Sephiroth's arrogance or Sephiroth letting Cloud win for cryptic reasons or whatnot.

Which is pretty annoying because after that, since Cloud is only allowed to fight Sephiroth and never really win he essentially became a hype guy.

That aside, at least at first glance this doesn't really seem too different from Cloud's matchup, at least on Sephiroth's end. I could be off mark though

if i remember correctly the Cloud matchup has hyper sonic (?)
This can't have hyper sonic

does the vial of calm and philter of tranquility passively activate? coz sephiroth looks like he has passive fear hax

Speed is equalized, so….

Speed equalize matches only matches their combat speed. So, for example, both characters would be 100 mph.

Speed Amplifications aren't affected. If a character has the ability to boost his speed, he's allowed to.

Well yea, I didn’t say otherwise. I’m assuming the amplification affects combat speed, unless if I’m mistaken

Yet it also defeats the purpose of the rule. Speed is equalized to provide a degree of fairness so it isn’t a speed stomp. Speed amping defeats the point of that rule and grants an advantage the character wasn’t supposed to have because of the rule.
