So in the final mission of the remake, sephiroth absorbs this giant hot orb:

Sephiroth absorbs it (also absorbs several whispers in the process). Absorption begins at 0:58.

What sephiroth absorbed here it METEOR from the black materia. This was possible due to the unique location they were located in, called the singularity.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Material Ultimania:

"The confrontation between the world of Lifestream, which symbolizes Aerith, and the world of Meteor, which symbolizes Sephiroth, is an important scene that hints at the confrontation between the two. Be sure to pay attention to the world of Meteor, which has been completely destroyed, befitting the appearance of the most powerful enemy, Sephiroth!"

Its a world where meteor manifests since it represents Sephiroth.

Earlier in the game we are shown a vision of meteor, which line with what was shown above:

Meteor scales above Supernova, as explained in this blog:

Its heavily implied the Sephiroth in game is Sephiroth from post advent children, somewhat supported by:
The three whispers in ch. 18 come from a 'future destiny' in order to defend it—implied to be Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo, who exist 2 years after FF7.

The Ultimania implies that these three are probably Kadaj, Loz, & Yazoo as they are beings that come to exist in the future, not present.

This makes sense with information given to us about the function of the the lifestream in the novels:

All of time is interconnected to the lifestream. So in essence its the strongest version of Sephiroth absorbing meteor here.

Does cloud and co scale
Not at all. Sephiroth is heavily implied to be holding back in the finale, as he clowns on cloud in a 1 v 1, and can one shot the part with divine proclamation. He also killed barret effortlessly earlier in the game, and outright tells cloud he refuses to kill, him as we wants him to join forces.

Conclusion
Sephiroth gets a remake key/ or page, with his stats reflective of his AC key, and a "higher" after meteor absorption for his ap.

The wait is over... Agreed
Sephiroth and the rest of the main FF7 crew will be getting separate Remake pages.

Also, I agree with this.
It makes sense that they're getting sperate pages for remake but at the same time it feels very weird for sephiroth to have an entirely new page instead of a new remake key especially with the amount of implications and even the way the events of the game play that do indeed imply he's a post AC sephiroth but I do understand for consistency and any other potential reasons it does make sense to give him a separate page

Yeah, it's fine for them to have a new page. It's not like sequel series don't warrant new pages sometimes, after all.

All in all, I agree with this.

Would this make Remake Sephiroth at least twice as powerful as Advent Children Sephiroth? Also wouldn't this be the same profile if it's the same Sephiroth as the original timeline?

Regardless, I would prefer a likely/possibly rating as it's only implied that it's the same Sephiroth and out outright confirmed. But it would also give Sephiroth Time Travel if it is the same Sephiroth right?

Yes and Yes it would and it's heavily implied that this is the same sephiroth post AC throughout the game and lore given, even in his most general actions which would require way more elaboration and detail than what's already been presented here

Some things as basic as sephiroth just generally appearing while Cloud is on his way to the train station to sector 7 is important as Sephiroth distracts Cloud and would normally have made him miss Aerith but due to fate trying to keep things intact the whispers keep Aerith in place so that the original events may be preserved and the moments of change while it may sound like a lot, in some cases the implications do go down to even musical beats. All in all is to say there's many levels of detailed implication that this is indeed Sephiroth post AC whose even sporting the One Black Wing which he only had as far forward as AC. That's enough out of me though the points been made already in the OP
