Re-doing Existence Erasure Explanation (Tensura Thread)

Introduction:​

Hello everyone. About a few month ago, I made this thread on EE. After revisiting the scan and going over the arguments again, I’ve noticed a issue with how it was interpreted, which I’ll address in this thread.

Note: "Aura「妖気(オーラ)」" and "Haki 「覇気」" are different (sharing only the fact that Haki uses aura). Aura is simply the natural leakage of magicules from one’s body, while Haki such as Heros Haki, Demon Lord Haki or Lords Ambition, or True Dragon Haki are skills.

Such was my state until that clever little slime appeared before me.

Hurtling towards me with bursting energy, the slime brazenly slammed into me. I was stunned, to be honest. If I do say so myself, my aura is rich and powerful, with a tremendous magical density. It is for these reasons that very few can stand in my presence. Even in my imprisoned state, lower monsters are totally unable to approach me. Even a higher-level monster would find it difficult to touch a being of such pure energy as myself.

そんな我の前に現れたのが、あの暢気なスライムだったのだよ。

ボフュンと勢い良く、ビタンと無遠慮に、我にぶつかってきおった。

正直言うと、驚いた。

自分で言うのもなんだが、我から洩れ出る 妖気（オーラ）は濃く、魔素（エネルギー）濃度は非常に高いのだ。

故に、我の前に立てる者は少ない。

この封印された状態でさえ、下等な魔物達では近付く事すら出来ぬのだから。まして、そんな魔素（エネルギー）の塊でもある我に触れるなど、高位の魔物でさえも難しいだろうよ。

“GA—HAHAHA! When that thing is installed, I can release my aura however I wish!”

As such, it is Veldora who announced these words without shame.

“No, you can’t, you idiot!! If you do that, most of the people in this country will die!”

I rebuke back with my genuine thoughts after hearing his shocking declaration .

Even Vesta’s smile faded as his face turned pale.

“That’s not a good idea indeed. We may still hold up, but it won’t be the same for the citizens in the town.”

“Even if he were to go somewhere else, Veldora-sama’s immense power would have the same effect no matter where he goes.”

Even Benimaru and Shuna’s expressions changed after hearing Veldora’s words.

Which is only natural.

Most people were not even able to approach him due to the magicule leakage when he was still sealed. Corpses would probably pile up in this nation if Veldora releases his aura without a care.


“No, but… I’ve been suppressing my aura all this time, it’s getting tiring…”

「クアーーッハッハッハ！ それが完成すれば、我も好き放題に 妖気 を解放出来るのだな！」

ヴェルドラのとんでもない発言に、リムルは思わず叫んだ。

「出来ねーよ、馬鹿野郎！ そんな事をすれば、この国の大半の者が死んでしまうわ!!」

ヴェスタも顔色を変える。

「確かにまずいな。今の俺達なら耐えられるでしょうが、町の住民では無理ですね」

「場所を変えても、ヴェルドラ様の御力ならば何処かしら影響が出てしまいます」

ベニマルやシュナでさえ、ヴェルドラの発言に顔色を変えていた。

それも当然だ。

封印状態で漏れ出る魔素でさえ、近付くことすら困難なのだ。もしヴェルドラが自由に 妖気 を解放すれば、この国は死体で溢れることになる。

「いや、しかし……我もずっと 妖気 を抑え込んでおるので、そろそろ疲れて……」

“…We also detected a powerful aura surrounding the area, and we believe that was the cause of this.”
“So someone triggered a magicule storm powerful enough to block all monitoring magic?”

“It was not a magicule storm, Lady Jaine, so much as a clash of opposed energy waves triggering a jamming signal.”

「──強大な妖気(オーラ)も検出されましたので、その影響かと思われます」

「監視魔法を妨害するほどの、魔素嵐が起きたのかえ？」

「ジェーン様、あれは魔素嵐というよりも、相反するエネルギーのぶつかり合いによる、干渉波の影響かと思われます」

“Yo, Veldora. Can you do me a favor?”

“Mm? What? I am busy.”

Yeah, busy reading manga, maybe.

“Ah… Too bad. I thought this was a pretty neat offer, too… But if you’re busy, then oh well. I just figured we could use your aura to— Oh, right, sorry. You’re busy. Never mind.”

I pretended to walk away. Leaving what was supposed to be my own house was a little weird, but well, I had lots of places to sleep. Besides…

“Oh, just one moment. I am busy, yes, but if you insist upon it, I will lend you an ear!”

「おい、ヴェルドラ。ちょっと頼みがあるんだが、いいか？」

「む？ 何だ、我は忙しいのだが？」

うん。お前、漫画読んでるよね。

どう見ても暇してるだろう。

「そうか……残念だ。せっかく面白い話だったんだけど……。忙しいのなら仕方ない。せっかくお前が妖気(オーラ)を──って、忙しいんだったな。スマンな、邪魔して」

そう言って、立ち去るフリをした。

自分の部屋から立ち去るという点に、少し釈然としないものを感じるが、まあ寝る場所は沢山ある。それにどうせ──

「おっと、ちょっと待つが良い。我も忙しいのだが、貴様の頼みなら仕方ない。話を聞こうではないか！」

Veldora’s magicules will flood the dungeon. Starting at the one hundredth floor, where the magicule concentration will be strongest, it will gradually thin out as it spreads across the floors above, which will have the desired effect of spawning relatively weak monsters in the upper floors, but progressively tougher ones lower down. The magicules leaked by Veldora during his sealed state was enough to spawn strong monsters such as Tempest Snakes at Rank A-minus. If it is Veldora now, I can’t fathom how strong the monsters will be.

Honestly, there really was no need to deploy guardians. I didn’t see anyone even arriving at the hundredth floor, so there shouldn’t be such worries. The most important thing was having Veldora release his youki. I figured that after telling him to endure, he was at his limit. If I left him unattended, he might find a place to relieve himself without permission when no one was watching, that’s why I had to keep my eyes on him at all times.

If he accidentally released it in this region, apart from my executives and myself, any average people would be unable to tolerate it. With the magicule concentration spiking, people below Rank B might easily be killed

地下迷宮(ダンジョン)はヴェルドラの魔素で満たされ、地下百階層に近付くほどに魔素濃度も高まる。上層部の魔素は薄くなるので、雑魚しか発生しない。しかし下層部に行けば行くほど、上位魔物が徘徊するようになるハズだ。

封印状態のヴェルドラから漏れ出た魔素でさえ、A-ランクの嵐蛇(テンペストサーペント)を筆頭とする強力な魔物達を生み出したほどだ。今のヴェルドラならば、どれほどの魔物が生まれるやら想像も出来ないというものである。

ぶっちゃけ、門の守護者なんざどうでもいい。百階層まで来るヤツなんていないだろうし、そんな心配はしていなかった。

重要なのは、ヴェルドラの妖気(オーラ)を解放させる事なのだ。

そろそろヴェルドラに我慢させるのも限界だと考えていた。放っておくと、どこか人目につかない所で勝手にスッキリしてしまいそうで、目を離せなかったのだ。

間違ってこの周辺で解き放たれてしまうと、俺や幹部連中はともかく一般人には耐えられない。魔素が濃いと、Ｂランク未満の者は簡単に死ぬのだ。

It was difficult doing this from inside the ruins, but I managed to use my magicule to have ‘Magic Perception’ expand to the outer region. It was then that I saw this vicious dragon.

It looked a lot like Veldora, but its size was a lot bigger. Its skin had rotted and its enormous youki was leaking out.

It looked like it possessed a great amount of magicule. It may even far exceed that of an awakened demon lord, its danger level must have reached Catastrophe class.

外観はヴェルドラに似ているが、サイズは一回り大きい。そして、その皮膚は腐食したように爛（ただ）れており、膨大な妖気（オーラ）がだだ漏れであった。

見るからに、巨大な魔素（エネルギー）量を秘めている。

その量は覚醒魔王級を遥かに超えており、その危険度は天災級（カタストロフ）で間違いない。

…Oops, but before that. Gathering my aura into my left hand, I casually hurled it at Gaiye.

That was all it took to render him into dust and erase him from this world. Stained by Maribel’s desire, he had obtained powers beyond his own, it looked like—but to me, he was just a distraction.

俺は自分の妖気（オーラ）を左手に集め、無造作にガイへと浴びせかけた。それだけで、ガイは塵（ちり）となってこの世から消滅する。

マリアベルの〝強欲〟に染まり、実力以上の力を得ていたようだが、俺からすれば単なる邪魔者でしかなかった。

"Are you listening to me?! You can't just walk over my protestatio—gwuah!"

I unleashed my aura without waiting for Ifrit to finish his sentence. The magicule density of the space we are in became even denser. This put enormous stress on Ifrit, as a spiritual being.

The majority of monsters under A-rank would be unable to bear this. Any human being would instantly perish.

"Gwaaaaah?!" Ifrit roared, trying desperately to resist.

"That's the spirit," I said kindly. "That's the spirit, Ifrit."

"M-my existence is vanishing...I will soon collapse and dis-sipaaate!!" Ah, very good.

The stress is building up well. This strain upon his being is what will make Ifrit much tougher. And knowing how Ifrit is already mentally strong enough to talk back to me, it should be a sign that his existence is more powerful than before, giving him higher maximum energy and making him able to withstand my aura.

「聞いてますか！？　一人で勝手に決めないで――ぐはっ！！」

イフリートの言葉を最後まで聞かず、我は妖気を解き放った。

我とイフリートがいる空間の魔素濃度が、更に濃密になる。これによって、精神生命体であるイフリートにも、過剰に負荷がかかるのだ。

Aランク以下の魔物では、半数以上が耐えられまい。人間なら、即死しているレベルだ。

「グオオオオオ――ッ！？」

必死で抵抗するイフリートに、我は優しく声をかける。

「気合だ。気合だぞ、イフリートよ」

「そ、存在が消える――このままでは、崩壊がァーーッ！！」

うむうむ。

いい感じに負荷がかかっておるな。この負荷が、イフリートをより強靭に育て上げてくれるのだ。

イフリートの気合の入りように、我も感動した。それこそ、我が友というものだ。

イフリートの精神が我に意見出来るほどに強くなっているのであれば、存在値も増しているハズだ。であれば、最大魔素量も増えているハズなので、我が放出した妖気を浴びても耐えられるハズなのだ。

S: Aura is the released magicules of a being. The stronger the being, the denser or more concentrated its magicules. This can have effects such as killing weaker beings or spawning monsters, with extremely high concentrations even capable of erasing existence. That said, EE isn’t exclusive to TD Haki anymore, but applies to high concentrations of magicules in general.

So what exactly is the proposal? Just differentiating aura and haki?
If so, what counts as acceptable for EE layers and what doesn't?

TBH I think maybe something got cut out while editing, cuz right after "table of contents" there's "Note:" and that's it.
