SCP god tiers should be 1-B

The nature of the entities which elaborated the message within SCP-2637-1 as well as the purpose of the message are not revealed within the elucidated parts of message17. Numerous segments suggest the entities are aware of the two-dimensional nature of their reality, and are trying to eventually contact 196,884-dimensional beings. The existence of such beings is unsupported by the Foundation's current understanding of cosmology.

"The existence of such beings is unsupported by the Foundation's current understanding of cosmology."

These beings they are supposedly attempting to contact may not exist in the first place.

I'm extremely uncomfortable with upgrading a verse this massively based on something that probably doesn't exist.

Possibly is for something vague, but still very plausible. I feel like we need more info on these beings, like if they even exist before we make any drastic upgrades to the verse.

It's not understandable by foundation's cosmology.

Remember this is a bunch of suicidal mad scientists who have trouble understanding some 3D objects that don't go by science and their entire existence is known to be fiction by some

We still have no evidence for if these beings actually exist in the first place.

The text says they are trying to eventually contact these beings, but the beings' mere existence is unsupported.

Is it the existence of a 196,884th dimension as a whole that's in question? Or just the existence of these beings? Because if there is a 196,884th dimension in SCP, regardless of whether those beings exist, this would scale to those guys who can destroy or transcend the entire multiverse.

Those beings exist, otherwise it'd be impossible to accurately say they are 196,844 dimensional.

You can't just say "oh we're trying to contact beings that don't exist but we're sure they're 196,844 dimensional!"

@Riiingo

It basically says "We think they're trying to eventually contact 196,844-dimensional beings, but their existence is unsupported".

I doubt it. Trancending 196,844 dimensions would only make it 196,845th dimensional, still 1-B.

If this were to go through, would SCP001 be High 1B?
High 1-B is for infinite dimensions. As absurdly high this is, it's still a finite amount of dimensions. So it'd only be 1-B.

The fact that they know these beings are likely the dimension they are supports that they exist, too.

They don't know that they are, they think that the SCP is trying to do that, but they don't believe that such beings actually exist.

Should we really be relying on the foundation, who call a bunch of evolved crabs anomalies, on whether or not beings who are 196,841 dimensions above them exist?

Besides, it's their current understanding of cosmology. They haven't learned all there is. So there is any chance the beings exist.

To be completely honest, it is very vague. Plain and simple. There is just not enough eveidence to warrant an upgrade.

Wasn't this the number of dimensions of Warren Ellis' snowflake cosmology in Planetary? If so, it is most likely simply a joke, and without further proof, should not be taken seriously.
