Making this thread for us to reconsider what we're even allowing on the wiki, which is utter crap, despite the best efforts of our team to make it seem not. This proposal will not touch on the standard, yet valid points brought up to delete the verse, like how fucky and contradictory its canon is, that it's honestly not worth the amount of drama and whatnot it causes, and that it's just fanfic we induce standards on, for our OWN purposes, not even something acknowledged in-verse. We have rejected far more popular, valid and less controversial verses in the past, the only reason I can see it staying is sunk cost, which is an excuse, really.
And no I don't think it's "harmless" as people say, we have many dumb pages made, like the bloodsucking Garfield, and paves the way for even dumber pages, like Doraemon (but again) and Donald Trump but evil. These are detrimental to the image we would project of ourselves on the wiki.
And like you can try claiming "oh Marvel and DC skate by fine", mate, Marvel and DC aren't SCP, for one Ovens ain't a fraction as panicky for what happens to them to fall for this thread, it's the perfect prank to play, really.
