Save the World: Chapter 1

"Hmm.... Interesting. I'll keep this in mind, but for now, I should probably stop the others from getting themselves killed. Chosen are a limited resource."

I leap from rooftop to rooftop to join up with the others and hopefully explain this whole mess
 
Rushing to the scene, I try to muffle Boris with Telekinesis before he threatens the man with extremely high tech
 
[@Group of people about to be nuked by Iron Man]

"I feel like i'm being mocked here."

Robot Man sighs.

"Ok so, if you don't work for Thanos, then what the hell do y-"

He then sees Colid jump in.

"Oh great, another one. What's up, Dracula?"

[@Overlord, in the Avengers tower for turism]

Thanks to the explosions that happened earlier, it seems there's no receptionist.
 
I hold up my hands to placate the robot. "I know it sounds stupid but its true. And aside from the bank collapsing, its not like we really did anything wrong either ... aside from Colis killing the robbers, that is."
 
Landing on the ground nearby, with my hand outstretched towards Boris, I take a moment to rise to my feet before replying

"My apologies for my associates, they really don't know how to handle a situation like this. I can see you're a rather powerful individual around here, so I'm willing to comply with your requests and answer your questions about the situation. I truly wish for you to be at ease, it benefits us all."
 
"Look, we really don't want any trouble, and we're really not trying to mock you. Just...ignore this guy," she gestured to Boris, "he doesn't know when to, uh...shut up,"
 
"I see. Well, since we are both new here, how about we join until we found our destinations each?" The man says, a suspicious smile on his face.

"Alright, you lead the way?"

"As for those people that idiot managed to vaporize, I think I could save them."

Ignoring everyone else and focusing on Colis, Robot Man gives him a sharp look.

"Well, you better have a pretty good excuse for everything that's been happening, vampire."

Although, not long before he looks at what seems to be a crazy scientist [@Andy] and gives him a confused look.

"What do you mean, people vaporized?"

@Overlord

There are sighs in the place pointing to where tourists should go.

@Psycho

"Sure." He gives a big ass smile.

He happily walks through the streets.
 
"Well, I care not if you think what I'm about to tell you is truth, but, we were sent here by a man named Dick Jr Mc Default. We're on a retrieval mission for something we have no idea the location of, the stereo sphere, held by someone with a 'big heart'. As we entered here, we saw the bank robbery, and figuring that criminal action might have something to do with it, we went to apprehend it, though, in a rather excessive fashion. From then on, significant confusion insued, and now we're being stared down by a fancy robot that I really wish I got my company to build before I was shipped off from my universe."

"Any more questions?"
 
The sign immediately flattens against my telekinetic wrath as Boris is now floating midair a good several meters away from me or anyone else he can be stupid against

"....."
 
[I lied]

"Well, that seems to match with the nonsense the other people talked about. However, i have a few more questions. Who is this... Dick Jr you talk about? What is a Stereo Sphere and why do you need it? And you have a company?"
 
"Well, he's apparently an ancient being also known as David Beckum. I'm not too familiar with him myself, but he hasn't shown any malice thus far. I don't know much about the stereo sphere either but, when it's crushed, it gives people called "Chosen" new abilities. Said abilities will allow us to fight back against None and his quest to devour the multiverse, or something along those lines. My company was in another universe entirely, so, nothing you would have heard about."
 
While still being held in the telekinesis, Boris now sat in a school desk as he was just writing down what everyone was saying.
 
The sighs.

"This is still sketchy to me, but for now, i think it's best if we all calm down at the moment and try to understand each other better. I feel we may regret if we ended up fighting each other."
 
"Gladly and yes we will. Now uh, who is this Thanos you mentioned? He sounds right up our alley if 'other universes' and 'interdimensional threat' reminds you of him."
 
"Well, not to said completely vaporize, but you sure wouldn't want to look at the mess these idiot left behind, especially the robber. If you guy have those "bring the people to the lawd" Lawful Good kind of thing though, I could pick those guy up in tip-top shape."

I said casually
 
"You know, I got tired of all this ... so I'll do what we came for ... find the Stereo Sphere", I exclaimed, then move away a few paces, drive the sword into the ground and start removing pieces of my armor.
 
Man, this guy sure is taking a while to wake up. The others beside Yuno have been in that new universe for a while now. Maybe I should try doing something directly?

I lightly shake the dude to get him to wake up.

The combined attacks from everyone else blow off the Black Goo entirely. From out of it comes what seems like a normal college kid, knockes out cold. Although, anyone could sense a lot of power coming from him.

DJ seems finished with the clones.

A black crimson smoke comes out of the destroyed armor and goo and delivers a message, in a deep, piercing voice: "Choosen. You may have won this time, but do not feel proud of thyselves for it. All this did was give me information on how thou fights, on thou weaknesses. Thou art destined to be killed by my hands..."

The voice fades away.

"He may be confident, but he is also stupid. He just gave us another potencial powerful ally." DJ says, pointing at the kid that feel out of the Black Goo. "He's a Choosen."

He grabs the kid and puts him in a barrier made using 4 gems. "He needs to rest and re-gain his energu for a moment." DJ says, sounding tired.

DJ sends a telepathic message for everyone on the base, which also snaps those who were fallen asleep awaken.

The message basically was "We have a new member for the squad, but we also need to hurry up to that another universe. We don't know when None will send new Corrupted Choosen, and how strong they will be. So, just, get ready."

[Small break time because Ed's character has been introduced and i'm feeling tired]

It appears that the "Boosts" in Growth Cheat don't just increase the power of my telekinesis, but also the potency of my esper abilities.

Now, I've semi-learned to distinguish others by the kind of pressure they emmit.

"Okay."

I go over to Silas.
 
"Hello....You probably shouldn't shake him too much."

[Yeah, can't that cause serious medical problems?]

I think that's only in infants. But still, I wouldn't want someone to wake me up out of such a peaceful nap.

"Yeah, I probably shouldn't. I just wanted to go help find the Stereo Sphere but at the same time, I didn't want him to wake up alone with DJ."

"You calm down as well, I have a job to do" I exclaim after I removed my breastplate, remaining bare-chested.

I take my sword and begin to carve runes in the ground, making a circle.
