Hmm I can see Vilgax AoE'ing the place they are fighting in with a shockwave (especially if Sans tries to increase his gravity) but that's probably not gonna be enough to take down Sans.

So after reviewing Vilgax's abilities the only keys that seem like they can beat Sans, stomp him horribly. This is just a bad match up.
