Also ozpin sclaes to moon level via blasting a hole in king piccolo in a long fight where they both die and Salem is 5 times stronger then that

I think it’s tiering is different considering one of the characters were able to face a massive Grimm turtle about the size of building maybe? Been a while since I looked at the art, as well as some characters having some pretty powerful semblances

Team CFVY actually did somthing similar in After the Fall, they fought a grimm called the Blind Worm that was twice the size of a 100 foot tall turtle and valvet ripped it in half

Some interesting things to note, besides the usual energy beams there are other types of magic used. First with Salem's father who made a long lasting barrier around the tower to keep Salem locked away. Also when Ozma storms the castle, the army are armed with axes that glow. We've seen in the main show how Maidens can conjure weapons, though I don't think this is the same thing since only the blade portion is glowing not the whole thing, leading me to believe that its some sort of weapon enhancement or augmentation using magic. Finally, when Ozma defeats Salem's father, he seemed to turn back his own attack against him so probably attack reflection.

Also, the sigil of the King's Castle was the exact same as the Arc's sigil but with a gem in the middle, possible connection between Salem and the Arc's?

So for the magic shown in the episode, we have forcefield creation and attack reflection, but for the weapon augmentation I don't think its listed on the powers and abilities section. What's the closest equivalent?

Eh I thought about it. But Empowerment is usually involuntary rather than something activated, which is what the archers did.

Passive semblances still work even when aura is broken like qrows, for some reason

I have no idea. If I had to guess it's probably because of her split personality she has that was revealed in the light novel
