In fact, I barely defended my own calculations; I already stated in the general discussion thread that they were wrong. What I am defending are the earthquake calculations, which are correct, and you are underestimating their magnitude due to a lack of knowledge of the table.

Before even hearing them out, you implied they will use mental gymnastics. You used a mocking and condescending tone while constructing a straw-man to attack him. You compared him to a meth addict. You said he was unqualified for his position and that his arguments were the stupidest things you'd ever seen. You continued to bicker here, and implied that this rudeness was mercy, indicating a desire to be even more toxic, which is not the defense you think it is.
I could've settled on an instruction reminding you to be civil despite all that, but Qaw and others in the thread already tried and you ignored it to come here and deny all wrongdoing instead.

Every report against a user cannot result in said user stirring up whatever controversy they can to distract from their own behavior. I take Demon_Lord's actions in an even harsher light given that his defense of his actions culminates in, essentially, "anything I do is not important because there's this other issue from ages past that we should be focusing on instead!"
I am tempted, by this turn of events, to consider an outright ban. A warning was already issued by FinePoint, I believe, to knock off the instigating behavior towards M3X; however a user feels about a CRT, they must abide by our rules. What is being done now is a vain attempt to bypass those rules via moral grandstanding, and I will not tolerate that.

If we get any serious indications that it would risk the existence of the wiki, we would act, but so far Fandom's (much more well-resourced and informed) view on this matter, is that the position Damage should have in wikis should be up to those communities. And our community has decided to take a pretty lax approach to off-site behaviour.
So in lieu of that, you are demonstrably derailing the discussion. You're responding to yourself being reported for rude behaviour towards M3X, by bringing up a staff member's off-site behaviour from 5 years ago.

Six months might be okay, with the provision that returning to that behaviour after will lead to harsher responses.
Also, should the comments here accusing a staff member be removed? They seem inflammatory.

I have deleted Demon_Lord18's recent comments, as there is nothing productive to come from discussing them here.
I'll take this chance to remind people that the HR group is currently the best resource for handling issues you have against staff members. I can't attest to how the other HR members feel, but I can attest to my own experience that I am never bothered to take on any such reports and that I take the poor conduct of staff members very seriously. I am always open to DMs from concerned users.

Since it appeared to be his first message on the matter, I initially suggested that he read the previous CRTs and arguments before continuing the discussion. He ignored that and continued arguing with others. I then suggested it again here. however, he outright refused to readthe thread that already addressed the topic. This is strange because he keeps asking us to prove that the worlds are not planets, even though this thread is not about that subject in the first place.
Because of this behavior and the repeated derailing, I request a thread ban for trolling.

At first it was about clarifying things but then it just transformed into a back n forth, but that resulting in almost a whole page worth of posts is a bit too much

I have deleted some comments that are unneccessary, aggressive and rage baiting; all other comments from him that i did not delete is because while they are bad argument they are still his opinion, which i can't delete, since delete them mean i was abusing my mod power to shut his opinion down

Reporting @PRIDEXEGO I don't think I need to say anything regarding this, and his general attitude against the verse.
Since he came back, all he has done is try to pick fights with Tensura scalers and constantly complain about their "wanked scaling." With him constantly saying that it's all MTL, even though we have repeatedly told him it was translated by official wiki translators...

@PRIDEXEGO Play nice, please. This is what I will call an informal warning, which is me politely asking you to abide by the rules of the wiki without making a big case about it. Whatever you believe about any given verse, you must act cordially towards other users. Them's the rules.

The scan that I pointed out are MTL scan which can be easily found if you google them in MTL translated volume they have used that out of context.

Those scans are from slimereader which is an accepted source and it isn't mtl, is a fan translation or something on those lines.

Just to say but the edited mtl starts at vol 16, the 2 scans are from vol 6 and 15, i don't remember the Velzard one though. Regardless you really didn't make any point at all, both in that thread and in your "epic" downgrade.

It's not even about the discussion; it is just him refusing to acknowledge when told that he is wrong and misleading. He didn't even check the verse page where Slimereader is explicitly stated to be an accepted source... (Nor accepted it when told, and warned about it)
