@Casban Good point, since it's either the slightly nsfw statue or trying to find fanart for a relatively osbscure mythological character who nobody really cares about

I don't think that's the problem, moreso Fandom has been anal about less offensive stuff in the past. It's just a safety precaution.

But... Fandom is made of people... And people are reasonable...

Sigh. Sorry for my previous reply.

To be fair, the image for the Pan Gu page was a few brush strokes away from this problem and nobody seems to have any issues with it

If we already have a separate profile for that key, we should probably not have the data twice.

This isn't about sweeping it under the rug, people get told to stop arguing multiple times every thread. This has gone for almost thirty posts now. Link another thread here where you'll discuss it.

@Versus

It's a paragraph or two. Seriously, it's not a big deal. If you're that bothered by it I can rewrite it.

If stats are an issue, then take it to a CRT.

Accusing people of shadiness and corruption over something like this is the epitome of making a mountain out of a molehill.

I strongly agree with Reppuzan. People need to stop assuming that the staff have some sort of corrupt agenda and severely overreact over it, when the truth is just that all of us are just human and sometimes make mistakes when trying our best to help the site as a whole.

Also, I previously reported the Mckmal sockpuppet from yesterday to Fandom, who globally blocked it and all other accounts of his that they could find.

I also just now reported the child **** uploader, and recommended them to involve the police in this case.

I'm removing the debate, as it's against the rules of this thread and continued despite many requests to stop.

(EDIT): Hakai'd the debate. I have thoughts about it, however Repp put it far better than I can.

Sorry for asking this, but which Mckmal sockpuppet were you talking about?

Yes, the content filter did not work properly initially. However, after I and PaChi2 talked about it with Timothy at Fandom, he reduced the block from infinite to 2 weeks.

Btw: Merrystar of the Fandom staff has since helped me to improve on the filter settings. It should work currently, but I strongly recommend people to not take any chances anyway.

Basically always take care to avoid ethnic, religious and sexist slur words within this wiki, just in case. The filter is a safety net, not a guarantee.

That being said, we should remind everyone to also avoid posting anything that may be considered ethically, religiously, or gender insensitive on the out-of-context scans thread (or elsewhere). Marvel and DC have several that are actually pretty funny, but I'd just hate for someone to get the ALRF/Iapitus treatment for literally out of context scans from mid 1900s comics.

I'd test it out myself but I'd rather not risk it.

Where is the thread in question?

Thanks. I have posted a message. I do not at all like to have to be a "stop having fun guy" though, and think that the Fandom staff is way too strict in this regard.

Me too, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

@Jimboydejuan12

Stop interrupting lots of threads with nonsense posts. Thank you.
