Promestein is correct. I will try to mostly ignore him.

Not really relevant and I dont mean to derail the thread, but am I the only person who scrolls through these Rule Report threads just to laugh at the idiots who do hilariously stupid things?
No, you are not lol.

I mean I don't scroll down here just for the lulz. But most of the time, I end up laughing internally.

God ant
God ant 3

Basically some dude vandilized the composite ant but since the page for it isn't that important it went unnoticed, until now.

It seems like DarkSide is a consistent problem. He has ignored Antvasima's warning and is being a pain and problem for staff and normal users alike. I am not one for bans generally, but I feel like we may be moved to action.

I wouldn't call that hostile especially when compared to the incident in that DBZ thread.

But if he's been told multiple times to look at the profiles and he still doesn't look at the profiles then that may be a profile.

In all fairness, he didn't ignore Ant's warning. He was warned for severe hostility against the staff, which he has toned down ever since.

Let's actually judge his transgressions instead of grouping them together to create an illusion of multiple misdeeds.

His latest response in the thread I brought up Dimentio is "Eh you can have your opinion on this matchup", so yeah, I see your point.

If he toned down the behavior he got the warning for, that would indicate that he didn't ignore it. There's all sorts of reasons someone wouldn't reply, from intinidation to not seeing the need to reply to something as clear as it is to simply not ever registering that others wouldn't have conclusive evidence it's seen. His extreme dimentio want isnt related to the past warning, and even there he seems to have somewhat conceded. If someone wanted to warn him that wouldn't be bad, but he doesn't deserve a block for that.

Well, this does not seem to be a very serious transgression, so a warning should be enough. Is any other staff member willing to handle it?

I don't think another warning is necessary. He's toned it down significantly and I think another warning may be a bit too much.

Looks like I'm in the minority here; I'll trust y'all's judgement. Though I could see him being a continual problem, I get why we wouldn't take action here.

Nothing really stops you from keeping an eye on him if you wanted.

I say we give him a chance for now. When I first joined, I was not the most pleasant user to deal with, admitedly. But I managed to change my act soon enough. Hopefully in time, he does the same.

I think that he should get another warning that tells him to stop exaggerating the powers of certain characters, as that is an unrelated issue to the previous warning content.

Are you willing to handle it Assaltwaffle?

It doesn't feel right to give people a warning for misinterpreting feats. Certainly there are plenty of people who are 100% convinced their character is that powerful, and I don't see how that's necessarily a rule violation unless they express their disagreement in aggressive ways.

He was mildly aggressive. That was the issue, not him thinking Dimentio is High 1-C.

Well, it still causes some problems with people who firmly exaggerate character statistics beyond what we rate them as, so a light reprimand seems fine to me, so he does not continue to do so.
