Rick vs Zim

Let's stop and think about how these two are quite alike in a weird sort of way.

Anyway, Rick has his gear but no prep but Zim has his gear and prep.

Who will decide earth's fate?

Seriously? Sure, Rick with gear and no prep is, tops, somewhere around planet-level, same as Zim WITH prep. . .but dude. . . .it's just not a fair match, Rick would CRUSH Zim. Why? Because Zim is an incompetent buffoon who constantly manages to botch his invasion of Earth despite access to super-duper-haxx technological resources. He gets foiled every single time by a freaking kid.

Basically Zim wouldn't stand a chance because he never knows how to actually use his awesome tech effectively, while Rick is AWESOME at using his tech effectively (like remember that one time he killed a room full of guards by portaling a bunch of water into the room, then making a portal to suck them and the water out into space? That is AWESOME tactical use of his tech).

Also, Rick's tech is just waaaaay more haxx than Zim's tech, even if Zim has prep. You said Rick has his gear in this fight? Then it doesn't matter if he has prep-time or not, becuase he can do stuff like:

1. Fly in a ship that is WAY faster than Zim's (Zim's took six months to travel between nearby galaxies, Rick's can traverse the universe in hours).

2. Shoot open portals between dimensions (the portal-gun also serving as a makeshift weapon that bypasses any and all physical and most conceivable non-physical durability).

3. FREEZE TIME ON A UNIVERSAL SCALE FOR EVERYONE BUT HIM.

4. Has guns that shoot actual antimatter into a target

And much more. In other words, the tech that Rick has access to on-the-regular, just sitting there in the garage he uses as his lab, is FAR more haxx than the tech Zim can muster even with preparation.
