He couldn't kill or beat Giorno, but he's already above time since he can move within time stopped spaces (both in his show, and in Isekai Quartet, where it's another character that uses it on him), and as long as Satella is alive and doesn't set his checkpoint somewhere during the battle, Subaru is completely safe from its affects
